Blue planet: what do people do to protect rivers and other natural objects?

Protection of natural communities is the most important component in the interaction of man with living nature. In Russia, for example, this issue is given important state significance. What do people do to protect rivers, lakes, fields, forests and animals around the world? Take appropriate measures, including at the state level.

Law on Nature Protection

The law on the protection of nature (protection and protection of rivers, farmland, etc.) and the use of wildlife was adopted in the Soviet Union in 1980. According to him, all flora and fauna of Russia, Ukraine, Georgia and other former Soviet republics is considered the property of the state and the national heritage. This decree requires a humane attitude to the flora and fauna.

The corresponding decision on the protection of nature obliges all people living in the territory of the spread of the law, in their official and private life to strictly observe all available requirements and rules, to try to protect the available wealth of their native land. Special attention should be paid to the protection of such natural objects as rivers. The fact is that at present the water bodies around the world are heavily polluted by one or another human activity. For example, in them waste water, oil and other chemical wastes are merged.

What do people do to protect rivers?

Fortunately, humanity has realized what damage it causes to the environment. At present, people around the world have begun implementing a plan to protect water bodies, in particular rivers. It consists of several stages.

  1. The first stage is the creation of different treatment facilities. Low-sulfur fuel is used, garbage and other wastes are completely destroyed or qualitatively processed. People are building chimneys 300 meters high and over. There is recultivation of land. Unfortunately, even the most modern and powerful wastewater treatment plants can not provide complete protection of water bodies. For example, chimneys, designed to reduce the concentration of harmful substances in certain rivers, spread dust pollution and acid rain over huge distances.
  2. What do people do to protect the rivers yet? The second stage is based on the development and application of fundamentally new environmental technology production. There is a transition to low-waste or completely non-waste processes. For example, many already know the so-called direct-flow water supply: the river - the enterprise - the river. In the near future, humanity wants to replace it with recycled water supply or in general with "dry" technology. At first this will allow partial and then complete cessation of wastewater discharge into rivers and other water bodies. It should be noted that this stage can be called the main one, since with the help of it people will not only reduce the pollution of the environment, but also will warn it. Unfortunately, this requires large material costs, beyond the capacity of many countries in the world.
  3. The third stage is a well thought out and most rational placement of "dirty" productions, which are detrimental to the environment. Such are the enterprises, for example, petrochemical, pulp and paper and metallurgical industries, as well as the manufacture of various building materials and thermal power.

How else can you solve the problem of pollution of rivers?

If we talk in detail about what people do to protect rivers from pollution, then it is impossible not to mention yet another way to solve this problem. It consists in reusing raw materials. For example, in developed countries, its reserves are estimated by a fabulous amount. The central producers of recyclable materials are the old industrial regions of Europe, the United States of America, Japan and, of course, the European part of our country.

Protection of nature by man

What do people do to protect rivers, forests, fields and animals at the legislative level? To save natural communities in Russia, so-called reserves and reserves began to be created in the times of the USSR. And also other protected territories. In them, in whole or in part, any interference from outside into these or those natural communities is prohibited. Such measures allow the flora and fauna to be in the most favorable conditions.
