Moreover, gel car batteries easily withstand the load of additional electronic devices. Even if the car is simultaneously turned on air conditioning, light, subwoofer and radio, the battery will still provide the optimum current in the electronic circuit. At the same time, the car's gel battery does not discharge as quickly as the rest. By the way, if the case of this device is damaged, the electrolyte will not leak out.

disadvantages

"Why is such a battery still not widely used?" - you ask. And all because this battery costs several times more than those that are now used on most cars. On gel batteries, the car price is just mad. Even the cheapest option costs at least 5 thousand rubles. And for some models, the price can go up to 20 thousand or more. In stores, he meets much less often, and even through the Internet you can not always buy it. But the price is not the only barrier for a gel battery. If such a battery is recharged, all the electrolyte in it will quickly boil away. And it is charging much faster than usual. Therefore, you need to be very careful here. Also, the automotive gel battery is very afraid of frost. If it is supercooled, it will no longer function.

In general, the car's gel battery is a good enough device, however its cost and vulnerability to cold make the product less common in Russia.
