Method One: Preventive Prevention

The woodworm beetle (photo) can live on a living tree, and on a long sawn log. When buying wood for building a house, you should make sure that it is impregnated with special insecticide solutions. This is usually done by suppliers and producers of sawn timber. However, if the forest is harvested independently, it is possible to carry out the treatment in ancient ways.

• Impregnation of wood with used engine oils, kerosene, chlorine, acids or diesel fuel. The process is not safe for health, it can only be carried out in a gas mask.
• Covering logs and boards with varnishes, ready impregnations or antibacterial coatings.

Method two: destruction

What if the time for prevention is missed, and the woodworm beetle began to destroy your property? It can be expelled or poisoned. The simplest ways to fight:

• Continuous burning of fumigation spirals in an infected room, use of special smoke grenades, electric fumigators and repellents.
• Destroyed destruction. With the help of a phonendoscope, you can determine where the woodworm "works" right now, open this place or use a syringe to pour in an antiseptic: either purchased or mentioned above. You can just progretsevat all to one hole.

The most reliable ways to deal with such a bug are only two:

• Treatment of the infected structure with the help of specialists-pest control.
• Removing the wood in which the beetle was wound. Only a thorough and stubborn struggle can bear fruit. If you miss the moment, then the beetle can very quickly lead the home into an unfit for living condition or even destroy it at all. Moreover, experience shows that even spraying or smearing does not always kill woodworms: they live deep in eating habits, where the poison can simply not get.
