"Ataman M1" - a pneumatic pistol caliber 4,5 mm, which appeared on the market in 2014. It is produced at the facilities of the Tula company "A + A". This pistol was an update to the previous version, which had an "M" index. Since the Ataman M pistol is already morally obsolete, today we will talk about the M1 model.

Pistol features

In appearance, Ataman resembles the legendary Italian Beretta 92. It is a unique product in the world of pneumatics. The thing is that the gun combines PCP and CO ₂ types. Above the working trunk there is a sealed reservoir with a volume of 60 cm ³ , which is filled with any harmless gas. You can do this with a fire extinguisher, compressor or pump. But it's much easier to simply insert two conventional 12-gram CO2 cylinders into the tank. They will be enough to shoot the entire charge of bullets. You can fill one full tank and one empty.

Another important feature - the system of charging cylinders has no gaskets, and therefore do not need to worry that because of its worn out air is bleached. The system is completely sealed, so you can safely load the gun in advance. This is really cool, because, as you know, most of these weapons are charged immediately before the shooting. According to the manufacturer, the Ataman M1 gun can hold air pressure and be charged up to six months.

The gun is made of durable black plastic (body) and steel (internal parts). In full charge, the device weighs only 0.56 kg. And if we remove balloons and bullets from it, the weight will be 0.48 kg. A long smooth barrel (17.8 cm) provides quite good accuracy of shooting. On the shutter (which is stationary in the model) a standard fly and a rear sight are installed. It is noteworthy that after the screw is completely screwed, the cylinders are not pierced. This is another significant plus of the Ataman pistol. To pierce the cylinders, you need to keep the muzzle in the hard surface and press. A small button, installed on the plug of the gas hole, drown, and everything will happen. At the same time, you will not hear any sound.

Disassembly of the pistol "Ataman"

The gun is disassembled a little in the usual way, since it does not have a movable shutter. First you need to raise the fuse. To detach the air block from the frame, you need to knock out the pin and apply a little force. Further all is simple. First we unscrew the barrel. To make it easier, clamp the weighting agent in a vice. After unscrewing the barrel, it, together with the spring and the rest of the parts, literally fall out. The main thing at this stage is to not lose anything.

Now with pliers you need to pull out a metal plate that goes towards the handle. Act must be perpendicular to the axis of the airlock. In case the valve does not lend itself, it is worth to slightly pull the plastic sleeve (it takes the balls) towards the muzzle. Screw, located behind the pneumatic unit, to twist to anything. Application

This model is used for training and sports shooting. It is often preferred by fans of hardball (a game in which one team leads a "fire" fight against another) and a blink (entertaining shooting at bottles and banks).

For self-defense this pistol is not suitable, due to its low weight and weak shot. Nevertheless, it is still possible to stop a person using it. And the fact that the gun can be stored loaded and it does not bleed air (like most pneumatics) makes it more suitable for self-defense purposes.

Repair and tuning

When the pneumatic gun "Ataman" will produce several thousand shots, the accuracy of the shooting may decrease. The reason is that the plastic is eventually produced, so that the gap between the barrel and the body becomes too large.

To fix this is simple. First you need to buy a cheap RG6 cable. It has a crimping cylinder. This detail is useful to us. It is necessary to cut the cylinder with scissors, push it up to the width of the barrel and put a slit up on it. It is also recommended to pre-trim the cylinder from the inside, so as not to reduce the speed of the shot. This simple manipulation allows you to increase not only the accuracy, but also the life of the gun.

To increase power, some owners put springs harder, and also bore the valve and the camera. And yet, those who have a model that works exclusively on cylinders, figured out how to adapt the gun to pumping other gases. To do this, in the center of the plug you just need to drill a hole and insert a valve from the car wheel into it.
