Applique "Tulips" from different materials

Very beautiful and original can be applique "Tulips". You can make it from different materials, and in several ways. Choose your favorite option and engage in creativity with children.

Tulips: paper application (simple)

For the easiest method, stencils in the form of a flower and leaf will be required. Preforms should preferably be made from thick paper or cardboard. If the craft is performed by a very small child, then the adults will have to cut out all the elements from the colored paper immediately.

When the lesson is held with the child, who can outline the contour on the stencil and cut out the workpiece, the sequence of work is as follows:

  1. Take the flower stencil and circle it on the red, yellow or other sheet of the right shade the right amount of times.
  2. Cut out the blanks.
  3. Also make the blanks of the leaves.
  4. From the green paper, cut out the thin strips. It will be stalks.
  5. To make the application "Tulips" look neat and complete, you need to make a panel in the frame, so prepare four strips of paper or cardboard, which at the end of the work, glue to the sides of the base.
  6. When all elements of the craft are cut, proceed to "assembly". This process is simple. Glue the tulip blanks at the top of the base.
  7. From each flower, glue on the stalk going down.
  8. At the top of the stems, arrange the leaves.

Framed - and the hack is ready.

Paper craftwork (medium level)

More complex, but beautiful application "Tulips" can be executed on the basis of a stencil of lanceolate form, which plays both the role of leaf and petal simultaneously. The crafting is carried out as follows:

  1. Prepare a stencil out of cardboard in the form of a leaf, but not too elongated, draw and cut out the workpiece.
  2. According to the template, circle a few details on a sheet of green paper. These will be leaves. For one tulip is enough two pieces.
  3. Cut out the elements along the contour.
  4. If you want and a sufficient amount of time, you can perform for each leaflet one more piece of a larger size from paper of a different shade elements that will be glued in the first place and serve as a decorative contour of the leaf.
  5. From green paper, make narrow strips of suitable length for stems.
  6. Circle the previously executed pattern on a sheet of red (orange, pink, yellow) paper three times for one flower. You can fold the sheet if the paper is thin, in the desired number of layers and traverse the stencil once.
  7. Cut out the blanks of the colored petals.
  8. Do the same number of blanks from the white paper. Of these, fringe for each petal will be formed. Fimbriated tulips look very impressive on the flowerbed, and therefore in the form of handmade paper, too, will be very unusual.
  9. Now you need to cut the fringe. For one tulip for two white blanks, it is cut on the inner sides, which will be directed towards the center, and the third white blank will need only a sharp tip, along which the fringe is cut.
  10. When all the elements are ready, take the base and proceed to the gluing process. You can pre-apply a contour drawing showing the location of the parts.
  11. Glue the central white preforms first.
  12. Apply a second layer of colored petals neatly to the white fringe.
  13. Glue the fringe of the pair of the extreme petals, and then the petals themselves.
  14. Glue the stems and leaves.

Decorate the hand-made article in a frame or use to decorate the front of the postcard.

Tulips from napkins

If the application of "Tulips" from colored paper seems to be difficult for your child, use a simpler technique when the baby will spread an artwork on the drawn contour from pre-rolled lumps of particles of colored napkins. You can use the white ones, but they will have to be dipped in gouache and dried after rolling in balls.

Tulips: application of fabric

Such an article can be used simply as a decorative panel or as an element of decorating an accessory, for example, bags, pillowcases. The fabric is suitable for any, but it is better to use fleece or felt. They do not require the processing of the edges of parts and allow the gluing of small elements.

You already know how the "Tulips" application is made from colored paper, it's easy to make decor from a felt using a similar technology. The only difference is that the blanks can not be glued, but sew along the contour with a needle and thread.

So, the application "Tulips" is easily made both from paper in different ways, and from fabric or other materials. Choose your favorite crafts. Perform with the child a panel for decorating a wall or a postcard of a spring theme.
