  3. Antihistamines for a child of the third generation: "Astemizol" and "Terfenadin." They are used for allergic rhinitis, dermatitis and bronchial asthma. Do not have a sedative effect and are almost safe. Recommended for children after three years.

Selection of antiallergic drugs is carried out by a doctor individually. The nature of the allergy, the age and the immunological status of the child are taken into account. But most often the pediatrician prescribes preparations of the second or third generation, since many of them also have an anti-inflammatory effect.

Antihistamines for children under one year of age

Preparations are not recommended for children suffering from the following diseases:
