In this article, we give a description of a fairly strong analgesic drug, called "Baralgin." Instructions for use refer to his clinical and pharmacological group "Analgesics-antipyretics." By its pharmacological action, this drug is a derivative of pyrazolone, which refers to non-narcotic drugs.

The drug "Baralgin" indications for use are the following: pain of different etiology and intensity, including head and tooth, as well as:

  • Neuralgia;
  • Pain syndrome, accompanying osteochondrosis, sciatica;
  • arthritis;
  • Intestinal, biliary, renal colic;
  • Febrile conditions accompanying infectious and inflammatory processes;
  • Spasms of smooth muscles;
  • Postoperative pain;
  • Algodismenorea.

A solution of baralgina should not be mixed with other medicinal products in the same syringe. In severe pain, in particular, due to inflammatory pathologies of the spine, arthritis, intramuscular injection of the described drug with the Relanium is allowed. In this case, solutions are injected by two syringes alternately, and the anesthetic effect of baralgina is enhanced.

- children from four to five years old - 100 - 200 mg;

- from six to seven years of age - 200 mg;

Children from eight to fourteen years of age, the drug is prescribed from 250 to 300 mg. Adolescents over fifteen and adults receive one tablet of the drug as a single dose, which is 500 mg.
