Alexander Timoshkin

After the release of the film "And the trees grow on the rocks," the actors who played the main roles, including the young ones, became recognizable not only in our country, but also abroad.

Most of the glory, of course, went to the main role. Young actor Alexander Timoshkin by that time already starred in the pictures "There were three fathers of his father" and "Mother Mary". Kukshi's role earned him the Silver Rook prize at the Fifth National Norwegian Film Festival. In subsequent years, he starred in about another three dozen paintings, and in 1999 he was awarded the title of "Honored Artist of Belarus."

Viktor Shulgin

This famous Soviet artist has become one of the few domestic actors who played in this picture of the Viking. He got the role of Tin. He is known for his roles in such well-known films as "Shadows disappear at noon", "Peter's Youth", "Eternal Call", etc. In 1992, Shulgin was awarded the title of "Honored Artist of Russia."

Like other actors in the movie "And the Trees are Growing on the Stones," he later admitted that he was interested in acting in such an extraordinary international project that talked about the relationship of the Slavs and Vikings in the era of the early Middle Ages.

Mikhail Gluzsky

This beloved many Soviet actor got the most mysterious role in the film "And the trees grow on the rocks." Actors of this level rarely agree to episodic roles. However, the image of Levius, or Bald head, performed by Mikhail Gluzsky became one of the most memorable in the film.

Valentina Titova

In the film, the actress got the role of Kuksha's mother. Valentina Titova, who is still considered one of the most beautiful women in Soviet and Russian cinema, coped with it, as always, brilliantly. She created an image of a Slavic woman as impeccable as those that were remembered by the audience for the films "Shield and Sword", "Days of Turbins". From the last roles of Titov, you can note the paintings "Loving in Russian" and "Unexpected Joy".

Now you know who was in the movie "And the trees are growing on the rocks." Actors (1985, many of them gave the opportunity to work with their foreign colleagues for the first time), such as M. Gluzsky, V. Shulgin and Per Sunderlann, are no longer with us, and those who were young at the time are now considered famous filmmakers in their countries .
