Agricultural machinery is an industry providing demand inside and outside the country for equipment such as soil cultivation machinery before crops, equipment for sowing and planting plants, irrigation, irrigation and fertilizer applications. In addition, for a number of crops, harvesters and soil-cultivating machines are needed after harvesting.

Agricultural machinery should also produce aggregates for animal care, for the processing of feed and their harvesting. Note that certain crops and animals require unique samples of equipment and in any farm, additional mechanisms are needed to ensure water supply, as well as equipment for reclamation operations.

Russian agricultural machinery is represented by several dozens of large producers, which mainly produce grain-processing, grain-harvesting, sowing equipment, harrows, seed dressers, sprayers, cultivators, rippers, seeders, mowers, plows, splitters, precision seeding systems and other equipment. In addition, it is possible to purchase domestic grain dryers, silage harvesting equipment, tractors, loaders, as well as grain storage facilities.

Among the enterprises, the following can be mentioned: Sibselmash special equipment (Rostekhnologii concern), IPC Argamak, Kuzembetevsky RMZ OJSC, Klaas Vostok LLC, Ivanteevsky elevator operator, Gryazino cultivator plant, Voronezhselmash, "Belinskkselmash", "Agrotekhmash" and others.

Domestic agricultural machinery is experiencing quite strong competition from Western producers, whose products, however, are more expensive, which saves Russian producers. In addition, it is quite difficult for foreign agricultural machines to obtain loans from Russian banks, they are more difficult to maintain due to the presence of on -board computers on many samples that require highly skilled mechanics. This also gives some advantages to the above-mentioned plants and firms.

A successful example of how to develop tractor and agricultural machinery is the Republic of Belarus. By preserving the "socialist heritage" and acquiring imported motors and other spare parts, Belarusian manufacturers produce samples with the optimal "price-quality" ratio, which allows them to successfully conquer the Russian market and supply products to some countries of Eastern Europe, as well as, for example, to Cuba.

Agricultural machinery plays an important role in ensuring food security of the country, so experts are pleased to note that in recent years there has been some growth in this sector of the Russian economy. Some enterprises went along the "Belarusian way", equipping the basic equipment with environmentally friendly engines, the application of which is required, for example, in Europe. So, the Rostselmash company has so successfully advanced on the way of integration of Western experience into domestic developments, which has been received by customers in more than twenty countries of the world. It should be noted that Russian equipment of this level is three times cheaper than foreign analogues, not inferior to them in quality, which makes it very attractive for agrarians and manufacturers of components from other countries.
