10 most terrible creatures from horror films

We know many different characters who can easily scare you with just one of their terrible looks, super abilities, unexpected actions, etc. Serial killers and psychopaths can scare us to death and leave a bad imprint in our memory. But these are all people. And what can frighten us even more? Scary, terrible creatures. When a new creature appears in the film, that's what makes us shiver and fear.

Let's recollect the most terrible creatures from popular movies.

Shark from the Jaws (1975)

This is a terrible creature that can question your next trip to the beach. A giant white shark is something that you will never want to see when you are in the water. A lot of blood and well-chosen background music by John Williams makes this creature deadly, but all elements of the film are perfectly combined.

Crocodile from Lake Placid: The Lake of Fear (1999)

It's horrors with elements of comedy (the film is in fact sometimes very funny), where there is a dangerous 9-meter crocodile that took Black Lake and hunts for helpless people (and a bear). Sometimes the movie jumps and funny moments, but this does not mean that this creature will not become your worst nightmare.

Piranhas from the film of the same name (1978)

Another dangerous guard of underwater "guys" who somehow got into the river. Near this river there was a children's camp. These fierce and eternally hungry fishes attacked teenagers who swam under water. "Piranha" is a satirical horror film, which is a parody of the film "Jaws" mentioned above.

Snake from the Anaconda (1997)

This is a horror film about a team of researchers (including Jennifer Lopez, Aisa Cube, John Gault) who went on a trip to the Amazon rainforest to hunt a giant anaconda. Who knows what to expect from such huge monsters? The guys could not even imagine that this creature could swallow a whole man!

After the film went to the big screen, too much criticism followed, but this did not stop the tape from becoming megapopular.

Gorillas from the Congo (1995)

This is an adventure film with a famously twisted plot. Another team of researchers goes to Africa to search for diamonds. During these very searches, they discover that the diamonds are guarded by dangerous gorillas. Congo is a big gorilla (local inhabitant), a keeper of diamonds, he is able to kill anyone. In the end, all this has very bad consequences.

Sheep from the movie "Black sheep" (2007)

This is a horror comedy produced by New Zealand from director Jonathan King, who shows us how genetic engineering can really make a mistake. Here we see how even the most stupid sheep after genetic modification can turn into bloody killers.

The film received many good reviews, and the box office gross was 4.9 million dollars. It's just a must-see!

Spiders from "Arachnophobia" (1990)

The less creatures, the more frightening they are, is not it? Spiders can wade anywhere, and you will not even notice them! We do not recommend people who have arachnophobia to watch this movie because there are too many spiders there. This is an American horror film directed by Frank Marshall, whose box office was 53.21 million dollars. Here you will find an exciting storyline that makes you be prepared for the fact that these crawling creatures can get out of the TV screen and attack directly at you. The South African spider accidentally goes to the US on a boat and there meets a local spider. Their descendants secretly make their way to one small town in California, and it's where the real horror begins.

Birds from the same movie (1963)

This is an American horror film directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Throughout the tape you are terrified by a large flock of birds. The sounds of waving wings end with sudden feathered attacks, and these attacks are becoming more frightening when flying monsters decide to attack a bunch of small children. This is a classic 3D movie. You really feel threat from the birds!

Ants from the movie "They!" (1954)

If you prefer a real trash, then this black and white film from the field of science fiction is just for you. In the desert of New Mexico was discovered a huge nest of giant ants. Their anomalous change was caused by atomic tests, which is what turned them into monsters that eat people! On the other hand, the film itself still makes us seriously think about the problem of radioactivity in our modern world.

Mosquitoes from the movie "Mosquitoes" (1995)

Another great science-fiction thriller, directed by Gary Jones. It's a movie that makes us hate mosquitoes. Here you will find out what happens when ordinary mosquitoes feed on foreign carcasses. The film with its sometimes terrible effects and dialogues in its address received a lot of bad criticism. In general, the tape is so-so - an amateur!
