In the near future, Russia's supreme government can put into operation a domestic limousine. The automobile enterprise "Depot ZIL" started the development of the "Monolith" project in 2004. History

The car is equipped with an old eight-cylinder V-engine, the volume of which is 7.7 liters. Initially, the engine was carbureted, now it has a direct fuel injection system. The engine cooling system is also modernized and has two electric forced cooling fans. As a consequence, the engine became more powerful than the original model by twenty-five horsepower (340 hp), and the torque is 640 Nm.

The ZIL car (model range 4112R, to be more specific) is equipped with a five-step automatic machine, developed by special order of the American engineering company Elisson. This company has established itself as a reliable manufacturer of gearboxes for cars and trucks. And considering the limousine booking and its total weight - 3.5 tons, the products of "Elisson" are great for working in tandem with an almost eight-liter engine. If the new representative limousine receives approval in terms of wide production, it is going to be equipped with a new, specially developed power unit and an improved chassis.

Preliminary it is said that when the domestic car ZIL-4112R goes into free sale, its cost will be about three hundred thousand euros. But at this point in this issue there is ambiguity.
