Zaporozhye Electrotechnical College of Zaporozhye National Technical University is one of the best profile educational institutions of I-II levels of accreditation of the Dnieper region of Ukraine. The college specializes in electrical engineering, metalworking, economic disciplines.

Historical reference

Zaporizhzhya Electrotechnical College was reorganized from the Zaporizhzhya Industrial Technical School in 1990 as a result of the experiment proposed by the USSR State Educational Establishment to create, on the basis of the best secondary specialized educational institutions, colleges that meet the requirements of the time. They provide the necessary level of preparation, take into account in the approach to learning the progressive world and national experience and traditions. The college was transferred to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on 11/29/1991.

Characteristic

Today Zaporizhzhya Electrotechnical College ZNTU prepares junior specialists, provides exchange and professional retraining of specialists of various (mainly technical) profile. The institution is characterized by multifunctionality, flexibility and a variety of forms of training specialists with regard to individual abilities of the individual.

Graduates have sufficient training in the specialty, which allows them to easily join the production process, as well as continue their education in universities in the framework of the continuous education system in Ukraine. The activity of the college is subordinated to the laws of market economy and is aimed at satisfying the educational needs of citizens, raising their educational level and providing the Pridneprovsky region with qualified specialists.

Today, more than 1000 students study at the full-time department, and 180 students study abroad. Over 500 students are retraining. The average cost of the cycle of training in the daytime department is 5730 hryvnia (about 12,300 Russian rubles), on the correspondence course - 2,460 (5300 Russian rubles).
