Work VELESSTROY on Yamal continues: the facility was inspected by the Minister of Energy

Neither cold nor wind nor severe conditions hinder the large-scale construction of the Yamal-LNG project. On May 15, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak flew to the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District to inspect the progress of the construction of the project, the key work of which is performed by VELESSTROY.

The inspection was conducted jointly with the Chairman of the Board of NOVATEK Leonid Mikhelson and the Director General of Yamal LNG, Yevgeny Kot. The delegates were accompanied by the heads of the company VELESSTROY: First Vice President Kreshimir Filipovich and General Director Zlatko Penich. During his visit to the peninsula, the minister inspected the main facilities - the plant and the LNG tanks. As a result of the bypass, Alexander Novak noted the good pace of construction.

Since 2013 LLC "Velesstroy" as a contractor is carrying out a set of works on the Yamal-LNG project. For the company VINCI is being industrial construction of unique facilities - four cryogenic storage tanks for liquefied natural gas with a volume of 160,000 cubic meters each. For the customer, "South Tambey LNG", the LNG plant construction project, construction workshops, office buildings, industrial base and entrance facilities are being implemented. The company also builds residential towns on the peninsula for the customer Yamal LNG.

The location of the field opens up a convenient way for the Russian Federation to supply gas to the countries of the Asian Pacific region and the European Union. The success of the project is guaranteed: contracts have already been signed with China, India and Spain for 25 years to supply gas.

Customers trust VELESSTROY the largest oil and gas facilities

The company was chosen by the contractor for Yamal LNG not by accident. The largest projects of the company today are the construction of an ammonia plant in Kingisepp, two linear parts in the Amur region, three oil pumping stations within the ESPO expansion. The promising direction of the company's work is civil construction, in which VELESSTROY performs finishing works in the Evolution Tower, the Moscow City complex.

The pride of VELESSTROY is participation in the construction of the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) project, the Russia's largest pipeline system for oil transportation to the Far East and markets in the Asia-Pacific region. At this facility, the company implemented unique projects - oil pumping, central-repair stations, autonomous diesel power stations, power lines and other facilities.

Experts note the growth of ratings VELESSTROY

Key indicators of the company's economic sustainability are growing. Recently Rating Agency RAEX (Expert RA) revised the rating of VELESSTROY and assigned ruBBB level to the company (which corresponds to rating A (I) according to the previously used methodology). This is the highest credit rating on the Russian scale Standard & Poor's.

Analysts of the agency note the strong market and competitive position of the company: VELESSTROY is one of the leaders in the market of oil and gas, industrial construction, has considerable experience in the implementation of relevant projects, and its customers are the largest oil and gas and electric grid companies of the Russian Federation.

May 18, the leadership of the French construction company VINCI sent a letter of recommendation on the activities of VELESSTROY, which noted the responsible attitude to the case, the high quality of work performance and compliance with construction deadlines.

In the future, the Yamal LNG plant will become Russia's largest liquefying center for natural gas. The company VELESSTROY will put into operation a huge production complex with three technological liquefaction lines with a capacity of 5.5 million tons per year each.
