The urban oasis was created with the help of local patrons, a considerable part of the money was contributed by the merchant M. A. Salishchev, who lived in the same area. The planning of the park and the planting of trees involved well-known doctors: AA Alexandrov, FS Arkhangelsky and land surveyor MD Krishnevsky. Today, not all Tula people know that the Tula Komsomol Park was originally called Aleksandrovsky Park. Its modern name, he received only in 1923. It was then that the city's Komsomol members took care of the park. Recreation zone periodically improved, new trees were planted and flower beds were broken. In the 90 years of the last century, like many other municipal facilities, the Tula Komsomol Park was left without due attention. Its territory was not regularly cleaned, entertainment attractions and cafes stopped operating for a while.
