What is the base yield and how is it calculated

This indicator as the base profitability is used in calculating a single tax on imputed income or, more simply, UTII. It was introduced with the aim of supporting the activities of small entrepreneurs and facilitating the calculation of taxes. This tax exempts the business entity from the need to calculate and pay a number of others. However, only organizations of specific activities can apply the simplified form.

The base yield of the UTII is the value of the yield per month for the selected unit of the physical indicator. The enterprise is obliged to make the account of physical indicators independently. Here, then, experts are faced with the problem of processing calculations and choosing methods for their implementation. The fact is that the government took measures on simplified taxation, but did not develop specific instructions. It is possible to review and analyze the Tax Code or the legislation of the Ministry of Finance for a long time, but the well-written recommendations can not be found.

That is why the base yield is calculated on the basis of books of the single tax on imputed income, which also allows to take into account physical indicators. However, economic entities have a choice, because they can abandon a simplified system. Then they will not have to count the UTII, but to compile a full accounting report, which requires additional resources. As you know, the standard form of accounting requires an accurate reflection of any movement of the assets of the enterprise, while a simplified system allows you to track only changes in the article of intangible assets of an organization and the movement of its fixed assets.

It follows from the legislative acts that the two above-mentioned variants of accounting can be used simultaneously at the enterprise. In this case, the specialist is required to maintain a separate book that records the expenditure and income part. In addition, the UTII book is filled out, which must be sent to the tax service for verification.

Individual entrepreneurs also pay UTII. The base yield is then calculated on the basis of physical indicators. In addition, they, as a rule, do not have to pay value -added tax. Of course, simplification does not apply to cash transactions. It is necessary to have a cash book, income-payment orders and other standard documentation.

So, let's take a closer look at the process of calculating the base profitability index. Based on the book on maintaining the UTII, it is necessary to compile a complete list of physical indicators in accordance with the specific type of enterprise activity. These include the number of employees of the company, the number of transport facilities, the size of the occupied retail space and even the area of the premises. Then, a comparative analysis should be carried out , which will take into account the basic profitability and physical indicators for each type of entrepreneurial activity. It is worth noting that the area of the hall is indicated in square meters, in order to express them in numerical value, it is necessary to use the table given in the UTII books.

The base yield is used in three basic methods for calculating a single tax on imputed income. The first method is based on the collection and processing of statistical information reflecting the results of specific activities strictly defined by legislative acts. According to the second method, the amount of tax payments actually transferred by the organization to the accounts of the budget and extra-budgetary funds is taken into account. In the third method, the basic profitability for each object, recommended for lowering or increasing the coefficients, is considered.
