Russia is a country where the military genre is loved, and this is understandable - we have been attacked more than once, and each time we won. So why not shoot about this war movie? Russia will probably watch it with the whole country. And last year 2013 was no exception. After all, our cinematography is famous for the whole world with its interesting works. Here and the world-famous "They fought for their Motherland", and "Only Old Men Are Going to Battle", where "old people" are 20-year-olds. These films have been around for many years, but they continue to be watched by different generations of viewers. From the last, more modern, all fell in love with two parts of the tape "Back to the Future", where the main characters were in the past. This is an excellent war movie! Russia watched the whole country in cinemas.

"Death to Spies". Shock Wave

2013 has pleased us with good serials. One of them is Death to Spies. The plot is tied to the fact that Germans sent spies to the Soviet rear to steal very important documents. Of course, our need to prevent this. But the portfolio still disappears, and the fighters do not have much time to return it. Only the heroic deeds of our children will save the Motherland!

The film is very addictive, the time for watching flies quickly, because military serials are almost a favorite genre of Russians. Especially the atmosphere here at a high level.

It is impossible not to say about another great series in 2013 - "Kill Stalin." From the name you can guess what will be discussed. The main goal of the fascists is the death of Stalin. Adolf Hitler personally created this plan, because he was sure that the death of the leader would decapitate the USSR. But our fighters will interfere!

"Stalingrad"

If you take the past year, he first of all was remembered by the work of Fyodor Bondarchuk "Stalingrad".

The team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations from Russia is carrying out an operation to save several people who were left under the ruins of a building that collapsed as a result of the earthquake. To somehow distract the unfortunate, an elderly Russian rescuer tells the story of his life. And it is like that.

Stalingrad. 1942 year. The main line of the plot unfolds around the defense of an apartment building, which stands on the way of the German troops. To delay the advancement of enemy forces for some time, a reconnaissance group is sent to the house, where they are in for a surprise: people still live in the house. More precisely, one girl and buried right there, in the courtyard of the house, her relatives and neighbors. The further action of the film takes place in this small territory, bounded by two or three houses and courtyards between them.

Against the backdrop of military operations, we are observing the relationship that exists between the fighters and the only surviving girl Katya.

In parallel, we are shown also by an enemy camp, located not far from the house where our intelligence service settled. In the role of an antagonist, our scouts are the brave Colonel of the Wehrmacht, bestowed with awards and enjoying a special honor from the German High Command. Before him, they set the task of destroying the house and clearing the way for the infantry.

New technologies

But let's leave aside the plot and turn to what allows us to refer this film not only to the category "War Cinema (Russia)", nor to include it in the list of "Military blockbusters."

This means shooting in the IMAX-3D format. We will not go into the technical details, let's just say that it's much steeper than just 3D. We will only mention a couple of films shot in this format - and you will all die. This is the leader of the world rental 2011 "Avatar" and "Hobbit: Unexpected Journey" - the leader of the 2012 hire. You can judge the scale of the work done by yourself.

Many people are sure that this is exactly what military films should be shot. Russia's 2013 is already different than 30 or 40 years ago. Now, to convey to people the idea of love, the idea of patriotism, you need more than a good script or a good director.
