Beginning of the sports way

Vladimir Alexandrovich Kaplichny from early childhood began to play football in the sports school of the city of Kamenets-Podolsky. Speaking in the center of the field or attack, he often scored. His performance at one of the youth tournaments was noticed by Eugene Lepeshko. He took Kaplichny to the Khmelnitsky Dynamo. Lepeshko did a lot for this talented teenager. Often he dealt with Vladimir individually. It was Lepeshko who put this player on the position of the central defender, on which he played until the end of his football career. Moody often noted that if it were not for Lepeshko's faith, he is unlikely to become a professional football player.

Professional career

Vladimir Alexandrovich Kaplichny was sure that he would play in Dynamo Kiev. All the talented Ukrainian players were invited to this team. However, Vladimir was taken into the army. There he began to compete for the Lviv "SKA". He got to this club thanks to the invitation of Sergei Shaposhnikov. This football specialist managed to collect an excellent team. Many of the players of his team wanted to see in his Moscow "CSKA". Kaplichny was among the players who were very interested in the Moscow club. The transition of this player to "CSKA" took place in 1966. Vladimir had a hard choice. He could play for Dynamo Kiev or go to Moscow's CSKA. Nevertheless, Vladimir chose a club from Moscow. Kaplichny Vladimir Alexandrovich (football player) immediately became a player of the core of this club, despite the high competition. All the players took it well and in every possible way helped him open up in the new club. In the "CSKA" Kaplichny spent 9 seasons. He showed a reliable game. This hard defender was very disliked by the attacking opponents. Vladimir was a real fighter. On the field he did not spare himself and his rivals. International career

For the first time Kaplichny played for the national team at the Olympiad. Gabriel Kachalin invited him to the team. He also took this defender to play in South America. At one of the tournaments, Vladimir Kaplichny received the prize of "The best defender of the tournament." Immediately upon his return to Moscow, Kaplichny received an invitation to play for the USSR national team from the new coach Mikhail Yakushin. The defender immediately became the main player. In his place claimed a lot of talented players, such as Shesternev and Anichkin. As part of his international team, Vladimir won silver at the European Championships and bronze at the Summer Olympics.

Completion of career

Age takes its toll, and Vladimir Alexandrovich had to finish his professional football career. This defender played his last match for the national team against the team of Ireland in 1974. In this game, Vladimir received a red card for the conflict with the opponent. Coaching

Vladimir Kaplichny led the team, going to the ninth place, and by the end of the season she was among the leaders. And the next year this team won the championship of Ukraine. But soon because of conflicts with the leadership of this coach had to leave the club. Vladimir Kaplichny decided to return to his homeland. Vladimir worked for a long time with the Ukrainian national football team. With this team, the coach won bronze at the World Championships.

Personal life

Kaplichny was married three times. After parting with his first wife, he began to drink. Perhaps it was the difficulties in his personal life that prevented him from realizing himself on the coaching bridge. His second marriage in the past, the legendary football player called a mistake. With his third wife Vladimir lived in Ukraine in his last years of life.

Vladimir Alexandrovich Kaplichny, whose biography certainly deserves respect, could not realize himself as a coach. But his achievements as a player are still remembered by football fans. Vladimir Kaplichny died on the 60th anniversary of his life. This footballer did a lot for football. He should be grateful to many clubs, especially the Russian national football team.
