VAZ 2329 - pickup of domestic "bottling"

AvtoVAZ began to produce the car in 2000, and the issue was carried out in small batches. The appearance of the VAZ 2329 is familiar to everyone who has ever seen the usual "Niva". All the same recognizable grille (now it is, of course, made of black plastic), on top of the round headlights there are signs of turns and dimensions. The rear of the car is able to change the appearance by changing the casing of the cargo platform. Salon VAZ 2329 in general is no different from the classic "Niva": all the same simple instrument panel, the same uncomplicated interior, except that the seats have become more comfortable. Disappeared and the usual windows on the front doors, the windshield visually became larger.

The purpose of the VAZ 2329 pickup is extremely clear - it's a sure move on the broken suburban and dirt roads. But the heavy off-road (compared to all with the same "Niva") pickup is given with great difficulty, because a longer base and more weight do not contribute to overcoming the obstacles of the rugged terrain. However, the blocking of the interaxle differential, the presence of a reduced gear and the full drive largely compensate for this disadvantage. Moreover, the increased wheel travel allows the VAZ 2329 "to compete" on an equal footing not only with other pickups, but also with foreign all-terrain vehicles.

A low awning on the VAZ 2329 (the owners' reviews indicate that it is really necessary) protects the pickup well from rain and dirt, it is fixed to the body and, if necessary, it can easily be plowed up, in the open state it is fixed with gas shock absorbers.

Several modifications of the 2329 are available for sale, in particular double and quadruple with an extended cab. The choice of the power unit is also available. So, for example, depending on the needs, you can prefer a 1.7 or 1.8-liter engine. A four-seater pick-up truck can carry loads up to 300 kg in the trunk, which is enhanced by reinforced springs and shock absorbers. It is also possible to "flip" the tailgate, which allows transportation of dimensional objects. In turn, a permanent all-wheel drive, solid ground clearance, as well as inter-axle differential lock, help to easily overcome difficult sections with broken roads and shallow water obstacles. Along with this, the enlarged wheelbase makes the car run smoother and more stable.

VAZ 2329 can be completed with additional safety plates that are installed on the side surfaces, a sunroof on the roof, a rear window guard, a spoiler and fog lights. For modification with an engine of 1.8 liters there is also the possibility of installing an air conditioner. There is also another modification, causing a certain interest - VAZ 2329MO, the purpose of which is to travel to the site of rescue operations. As a rule, these cars are delivered to the appropriate units of our country.

In general, the car as the first domestic pick-up has left a good impression of itself. It has all the merits of the familiar "Niva", while having a wider range of possibilities.
