Valentin Novikov - Russian writer and translator

Valentin Novikov, a philologist by education, wrote not so many books for his life (he was more engaged in translating from the Kazakh and Azerbaijani languages), but all the works found their niche in Soviet literature. Soviet novelist and translator Valentin Novikov was born on November 4, 1928 in the village of Tumanovo in the Kurgan region. After work as a teacher he changed several professions - he was a journalist and editor of several printed publications. In the mid-1990s he immigrated to Israel. There he died on December 20, 1995.
