TV presenter Alla Volkova: biography, personal life. Transfer "Love at first sight"

Unfortunately, few of today's youth can recall one of the most talented and beautiful TV presenters of the 90s of last century. But Alla Volkova was just like that. It is worth noting that during her popularity, the attitude to television was completely different than today. The lack of satellite channels and digital analogs generated an information deficit. That is why, the light entertainment program "Love at first sight," the first lead of which became the heroine of our article, was very popular among the audience.

Mysterious host of the program

At a time when the Internet as such was not there, and the yellow press did not publish various gossip and speculation about the stars as freely as today, the life of the actors and leading, appealing to the viewer from the blue screens, was really a secret.

Information about this TV host and to date in the public domain is not enough. It is known that Alla was born in 1955. She is an English teacher by training. Alla Volkova has always been interested in the general public, and information about the personal life of the presenter has never been publicized. And since people always need to discuss something, and even more so, the general atmosphere on the set of "Love at first sight" seemed very romantic, the rumor immediately attributed the novelist to her colleague on the air.

Invented novel between the two leading

Along with the young people who came to the program to find their soul mate, the spectators unintentionally came up with another pair of "Boris Hook and Alla Volkova." This duo even attributed the wedding. Apparently, people liked to think that a couple of young, talented and in love with each other helps people find beloved participants of their telecast. And only many years later, in one of her interviews, Alla Volkova, a TV presenter, denied such rumors, firmly stating that there had never been any novel between him and Boris.

How did Volkova get to "Love at first sight"?

But interesting enough fact is that to get to the program that was loved by thousands of spectators as the presenter Alla was able largely thanks to Boris Kryuk's mother - Natalia Stetsenko. At that time Alla Volkova already had something to do with television. In 1979 she worked in the youth edition of the program called "What? Where? When?". At this time, TV "Game TV" decides to release on the domestic screen an analogue of the English entertainment show under the original name Love at first sight. Thus, in the post-Soviet broadcast a program "Love at first sight" appeared.

The decision on who will act as the leading ones was accepted by Vladimir Voroshilov (not the last person in the "Game" TV company) and his wife - Natalya Stetsenko (mother of Boris Kryuk). It was she who suggested taking the girl from the editorial board, which was Alla Volkova, to the role of co-host of her son.

Preparation for shooting

When Boris Kriuk and Alla Volkova began preparing for the broadcasts, it turned out that in the post-Soviet space there was practically no experience in running such programs and what was required of the leading ones was not entirely clear. For this reason, the filming of the first program took place in London, where foreign colleagues shared their experiences with the leaders of the newly-minted program.

It is worth noting that English experts and the next few years supported the creators of the Russian version of the program, as domestic television was not quite ready to shoot a show of this level. It is worth recalling that "Love at first sight" first appeared on air in 1991. By that time, as Alla Volkova herself recalls, there was not even a computer in the local television center, and the technique used in the work was 1960-1970 years of release. All the necessary television team was provided by foreign colleagues.

Rules of the legendary game

For the post-Soviet era, the idea and format of the broadcast were very unusual and interesting enough. At the first stage, 6 people took part in the show: three guys and three girls. The hosts started to ask the players various interesting and sometimes tricky questions. At the same time, participants could not see each other. Their idea of other players, they could only add on the basis of the answers they heard.

Then they were asked to decide on their sympathy and click on the button for selecting a particular participant. Only after the choice was made, guys and girls could see each other. If the choice of participants was blind, it was a peculiar pairing. And this couple could continue to participate in the game. After filming, the young people who chose each other went to the restaurant in order to communicate and get to know each other better. On the second day of filming, the couple returned, and the hosts suggested that they again answer the questions, which this time were not of a general nature, but concerned each elect in a pair. For example, the guy had to answer how the girl behaves in this or that situation.

For each correct answer, the couple received as a reward the opportunity to make one shot on the computer. In the studio there was a large screen with hearts, under which were hidden various prizes (gifts for the newlyweds). The most important prize was a romantic journey, and the more shots the pair made with their right answers, the more the chances of winning the main prize increased.

Intrigue and some tension on the air was brought by the fact that in one of the sectors the "Broken Heart" was hiding. If the pair got into it, the game for them immediately ended.

Distributed Images and Roles

When the program was in the process of development, there were practically no requirements to the presenter, since no one had the slightest idea how to conduct a romantic entertainment show. All that Boris and Alla did on the set was exclusively improvisation.

Volkova and Hook created the impression of a very harmonious couple of leading. Their screen images perfectly complemented each other. Boris has always been distinguished by intelligence and subtle humor, while it should be noted that his jokes never had anything to do with sarcasm or irony. He was the personification of mind and resourcefulness. Alla Volkova should have thus more easy, womanly type. She always knew how to attract the views of television viewers to herself, every ether appearing in new clothes and changing hairstyles.

Over time, the stylists made her a blonde, but at the same time, it should be noted that Alla Volkova is the leading one who has never looked vulgar or stupid. When the girl was preparing for the release of the program, knowing that the program would mainly deal with the relationship between men and women, she read a lot of special literature, studied Freud's work and even went to psychology courses.

For the competent creation of a qualitative ethereal image, Alla Volkova herself in the interview today often thanks the stylist of Alexander Shevchuk's program. It was from his filing for the leading chosen fashionable, beautiful and very elegant outfits. Also Shevchuk always selected for Volkova a new hairstyle and makeup. And he was able to change the images of Alla so masterly and radically that sometimes colleagues on the site could recognize Volkov only by voice.

Closing the transfer

This program was aired for almost 8 years, which is a very long time for an entertaining show. When the program was closed, the reasons for this became overgrown with legends. In fact, everything was corny. The last actual shooting took place in 1998, while at the time there was a crisis in the yard. The cost price of transmission was managed by its creator in a fairly large amount, and in many respects this was due to expensive decorations and the use of computer technology. Over time, "Love at first sight" began to appear on the screens less and less. In one of his interviews, Boris Hruck, recalling those times, said that the closure of the program was quite logical and occurred on the mutual consent of all parties involved in creating the show.

Personal life of Volkovoj

This presenter has never exposed her personal life to the show. But apparently, she was bored with Alla, since it becomes clear from various publications that she had only three official marriages. It is known that the last her husband was musician Igor Ivannikov. It is also known that from the previous marriage the TV presenter has two already grown-up sons.

Where is Alla Volkova now?

After the closure of "Love at first sight" Alla Volkova (whose biography was never publicized in details) has not ceased to interest the loyal audience. Unlike her colleague Boris, she did not appear in the new program, and many thought that she had ceased to have anything to do with television at all. But in reality Volkova has for many years quite successfully continued cooperation with the television company "Play TV" and the producer center with the same name. She is the program director and editor in chief of programs such as the Cultural Revolution and What? Where? When?".
