Turkey's jewelry industry is one of the most developed in the world. The country is not included in the top list for the extraction of this raw material, but imports it for the production of ornaments intended for sale to tourists. The so-called "Turkish gold" (processed, not extracted in this country) is known for lower prices. This is explained by the possibilities of modern technologies, the developed sales market, sales at estimated prices, tied to quotations on the world stock exchange.

Turkish gold has a number of features. First of all, it is yellow, sometimes yellow-lemon. Many because of this shade consider it low-quality. The most common sample is 14K (14 pieces of gold and 10 pieces of additional metals), it corresponds to 585 samples. Products from such an alloy are durable and are quite affordable prices. To be sure that you are acquiring gold, on which there is a real test (since it is often the case that there are stamps on which there is a stigma), it is necessary to know what official foreign tests look like.

Turkish gold can be bought at different prices and different quality. According to statistics, approximately 60% of gold products imported to Russia from Turkey contain much less precious metal than it should be, according to the sample. Therefore, you need to approach the choice of a place to purchase jewelry with a reasonable degree of caution.
