Tkach Elena was born in 1959 in Moscow. The writer graduated from the ballet school. Then she entered GITIS. After receiving the higher theatrical education, Tkach Elena spent several years as editor in one of the youth magazines. Then she worked in the Moscow Art Center, headed the literary department of the Kremlin Theater. Yelena Tkach also worked in the magazines "Theater Life", "Smena". In 1986 she took part in the organization of the Moscow theatrical festival.

The literary career of the heroine of this article began in the early nineties. Not only under her own name, but also under the pseudonym Elena Lanetskaya, her works were published by Elena Tkach.
