The water cycle on earth as the engine of life

The action of gravity and solar radiation collectively give the planet a constant process, which is called the "water cycle on Earth," which is a kind of motor of life. If he ever stops, then all living things will perish. This moisture flow is usually divided into three main types. Inland circulation is characteristic only for a certain area of land. A small cycle occurs when moisture evaporates from the ocean and returns to the water by rain. All processes occur in the hydrosphere and atmosphere, clouds and clouds do not blow away the wind. And a large water cycle is caused by evaporation and cloud formation. But unlike the previous water flow, in this case the clouds can blow away from the place of initial evaporation.

It so happened that the water in the ocean is not suitable for drinking, because it contains a large amount of salt. If it passed the water cycle on Earth in its pure form, then all continents would fill the deserts. However, nature ordered differently. Despite the high concentration of salt directly in the ocean, moisture returns to the surface of the planet in the sediments already in desalinated form. This is as follows. Every second from the surface of water sources, whether it is a small lake or the world ocean, the moisture evaporates under the action of solar heat. If we consider a small section of the reservoir, then one or several drops taken into the upper air layers are taken into account. However, given that the land area on the planet is smaller, a huge water mass rises every second to the atmosphere. Part of it goes beyond the Earth. In the troposphere and the stratosphere, water is transformed into rain clouds, and the wind carries them around the ball of our planet. Then, precipitation falls on the continents in the form of snow, rain, hail, and others. So, every day we observe the water cycle on Earth, this eternal process, the beginning of which is equated with the appearance of our planet.

However, not all moisture from the ocean surface precipitates. Sometimes the evaporation is so strong that the drops of water do not leave the earth's surface, but remain on it in the form of fog. Then we see a mixed cycle of water in nature. Its scheme is as follows. Water begins to rise from the surface, but its droplets are not the same. Smaller and lighter pass into the atmosphere, while heavy ones remain in the hydrosphere and return safely to the ocean. The first drops are transformed into clouds or clouds, which, under the influence of the wind, travel the planet. Such, as a rule, pour out directly on the continents. Precipitation contributes to the filling of reservoirs on land, as well as they penetrate the earth's surface, where they form groundwaters. From the continents, moisture returns to the ocean again: rivers are carried away there.

It is impossible, mentioning the water cycle on Earth, not to say about those drops that move in space. As long as our planet passes through its orbit, the side that is closer to the Sun loses some of its atmosphere, then when it turns from the luminary, it restores it. Together with the atmospheric layer, water drops are also lost in it. They are transformed into ice crystals and with a peculiar dew settle on cosmic dust. Being completely transparent and very small, they for a long time kept their existence in secret. And only recently scientists managed to find them. For sure, this water also plays a role, but not in planetary, but on a universal scale. However, this side of the water cycle is not known to us exactly.
