The symbol of Kolovrat is an ancient Slavic sign

The symbol of the Kolovrat, or in other words the swastika, is one of the oldest Slavic signs. He represents the solar gods and denotes the eternal movement of the Sun, the triumph of light over darkness. This sign can be found on almost all items of utensils and clothing of Ancient Rus. Swastik symbols were used in embroidery as amulets, worn around the neck, cut out on furniture and utensils or used by the magicians in ritual actions.

The symbol Kolovrat in dr Euchinism was common in many countries. The most ancient finds of objects decorated with a rotolus date back to about 40 thousand years ago. And now the remains of the mural or decorations on the temples can be found in Egypt, Japan, China or India. But most of all they are found in the territories of the ancient Slavs.

Almost all the clothes in ethnographic museums are decorated with embroideries depicting the Kolovrat. He was on household utensils, toys, walls of houses, in mosaic floor and weapons. The swastika is located in the very middle of the 250 ruble denominations issued under Tsar Nicholas II and under the Provisional Government. This sign was marked by the armband of the Red Army men. Only after the swastika, or rather one of its options, the Nazis took, it was prohibited.

But this sign does not bear any negative value, on the contrary, it protects from evil forces and misfortunes, helps to achieve success. It is a symbol of life, sunlight and eternal renewal. Therefore, he was loved by all nations at all times.

The symbol Kolovrat has many varieties, but always recognizable. This is a circle with rays embedded into it with bent ends. Most often they are 4, 6 or 8. The rays can be bent to the right or left. It is believed that such symbols have opposite meanings. Right-sided Kolovrat means vital energy and male power, and the left-sided symbolizes an appeal to the world of ancestors and gods and female energy. But in ancient times both symbols were revered.

The whole life of our ancestors was subordinated to the rhythms of the movement of the sun, the change of seasons. All the holidays were full of sunshine. Therefore, the symbol Kolovrat was used so widely. He protected from the evil eye, diseases and misfortunes, gave strength and wisdom. This sign was reminiscent of the covenants of the gods and served as a symbol of eternal movement and renewal of life.

Contemporary art Studies have proven a deeper meaning, which has a Kolovrat (symbol). The photo of our Galaxy shows that it has the same shape as the four-beam swastika. In addition, if the imaginary lines from the constellation Ursa Major to the Polar Star are held in the starry sky during the four most important holidays of the ancient Slavs - the winter and summer solstice and the spring and autumn equinox, then the same Kolovrat will turn out.

The symbol of the sun is the most revered sign in the whole world, despite the change of religions and governments. True, our people now have a negative opinion of him, but the ancient knowledge of his true meaning is gradually returning.
