The straightforwardness of the poetic utterance and the civil courage of Valery Patrushev

ABOUT THE POETRICAL CREATIVITY OF VALERY PATRUSHEV

Tell me to see you ...

Socrates

Acquaintance with the poet's work is always an opportunity to get acquainted with his inner world and the most important facets of the author's personality, which he involuntarily uncovers in his poems. After all, creating a poetic work, he always puts into his poem everything without a trace-life experience, knowledge, all his skills and abilities, while maximally exposing his soul to the reader-everything that she lives-with feelings, emotions, pain And joy, attitude to life and the events that affected it. "I opened my own soul without fear ...", the contemporary Russian poet Valery Konstantinovich Patrushev confesses to his readers. How in the mirror is reflected in each poem the spiritual fullness and depth of the poet's heart, the author's worldview, the versatility of his extraordinary personality, the nobility of the soul and the direction of the master's thought, which has something to say to his reader:

I do not have the usual sight:
I really need to penetrate deeper into the essence of things,
Up to a tiny atom to reach,
To find the seed of the initial.

Sometimes, watching our life fragile,
I am looking for the beginnings of human actions:
Where are the roots of a boor, coward, scoundrel?
How do I get to the bottom of them?

Shares his thoughts with the reader Patrushev in the poem "I do not have the usual sight ..." (2010). It is the penetration into the essence of things and the disclosure of the causes of each phenomenon, not only personal, but also social life, that are the core of Valeri Patrushev's entire creative work. This property of his personality gives each stanza depth and extraordinary appeal. The author's desire to understand the "insane world" and get to the root of everything, is reflected in such lines:

I so wanted to understand the insane world,
I was looking for the essence with interest -

And in the noise of crowded apartments,
And in the silence that owned the forest,
And even in a small drop of rain ...

This small passage reflects not only the personality trait of the poet in all "the initial grain to find," but also his need to share his thoughts, searches and findings with the reader.

The poetic word is a special word. Having gone through the inconceivable labyrinths of the human soul and having absorbed the living juices of a beating heart, filled with impressions, sensations and experiences that are inherent only to this person, due to his individual characteristics of perception of the world around him, the poetic word acquires a unique creative power and depth. It becomes - alive!

Valeri Patrushev's poems are bribed with their sincere sincerity, the special gift of the sounding word affecting the reader's heart, "there is a power of grace in the harmony of the words of the living, and the incomprehensible, holy beauty in them breathes" - involuntarily recall the lines of Mikhail Yurievich Lermontov (1814-1841) - the Russian poet , Prose writer, playwright and artist. Patrushev finds such amazing intonations and notes, conveying in his word his vision of the world, which gives his poetry an identity and individuality. A living, expressive word, filled with the feelings and mood of the poet, an organic combination of the poetic form and content, the ability to rhythmically express their thoughts - all this together allow Valery Patrushev to be independent in his work and have a pronounced author's handwriting.

That is why, in the words of Pavel Aleksandrovich Katenin (1792-1853) - a Russian poet, playwright, literary critic and translator, in the poetry of Valery Konstantinovich "talent more than art." In each poem Patrushev manifested not only his skill, not only his ability to express his thoughts in a poetic form about certain or other phenomena of modern life, but also the character of the poet himself, his personality, his individual human qualities and, most importantly, his attitude to what is happening .

Particular attention is attracted by civil-patriotic lyrics. The themes that he raised in verse-reflections are close and understandable to many readers of both the younger and older generation, they reflect the relevance of today, which excites Valery as a citizen of his country. The fact that the conscience of the poet can not keep silent about this is the lack of spirituality and the decline of the moral foundations in society, and therefore in each of us - one of the most painful topics that often arises in Patrushev's poems. For example, in the poem "We are ready for the income in the dirt ..." (2012) there are such lines:

We are ready for the income in the mud,
And tomorrow - deeper than today.
We choose, fussing,
Where is more profitable and where more profitable.

Recognizable? Unfortunately, we are more and more immersed in materiality, forgetting that "man does not live by bread alone". It is terrible that such an unrestrained craving for material values and disregard for spiritual values can lead to tragedy, which Patrushev warns in this same poem: "life will seem different when the familiar peaceful region of bloody war strikes." Greed and greed, like deadly viruses, affect human souls, blossoming in a lush color on the basis of unspirituality. A sharp poetic word, like a scalpel of a surgeon, skillfully reveals the painful problems of our life, showing to all of us the reason why "now vulgarity triumphs everywhere and baseness tries on the order". The poet asks in one of his poems "What are you sick, my country? What are you sick with, what pain? "(1992) and, reflecting on today's time and our world, once called" the best of the worlds ", Patrushev painfully notes in the poem" Still the heart is not tired ... "(2012):

... something dushnovato became
Me in this "best of the worlds."

The moan, muffled by the parade,
Bouquets that knives ...
On the lie, the mixed truth
Much worse than an open lie.

The mansions that the temples are above,
And the blood that flows like water ...
Pangs of conscience without hearing,
Obstinately torn to nowhere.

And notes of falsehood in a flattering scale,
And smells like mildew ...

From such lines ... frost on the skin. "Out of life, and not from the bookshelves came the insight of being," the poet explains his vision of reality. Deep knowledge and understanding of modern life, which is called "from within," helped him to pick up in this poem such harsh and biting words that, exposing the recognizable signs of our time and penetrating into the very depth of consciousness, respond with pain in the reader's heart and, literally, stun their Frankness. The words of Vladimir Soloukhin (1924-1977) - Russian Soviet poet and writer that "... the degree of uniqueness of the found word is the only measure of talent ...", precisely emphasize the talent of Valery Patrushev to find those very "words" in the works he creates.

No less terrible reality of the "world of madness" is opened for his reader by Patrushev and in the poem "As in a turn on a slippery bend ...", showing what he is, this "world of madness where a thief is ruled by a money-lender and there is no salvation for a wounded soul". So who is to blame for this wild revelry of immorality and lack of spirituality? In the poem "Wines" (2011), the poet partially gives the answer: "The fault is mine, yours is that at an alarming hour we kept silent ...". How to stop this endless methane in the "vicious circle," in which, as in a distorted mirror reflected:

The insane criticism of the authorities,
Mad prophets and messiahs,
Murderers, thieves and rogues of all stripes
An insane sabbath in the world and in Russia.
Wealth smell drives us crazy,
And the more unjust it is, the easier ...

In this passage from the poem "Ah, maybe the world has long gone mad ..." (2011) the poet, continuing the theme of the madness of the "cruel world", asks the main question in this life about the preservation of the human soul:

Amid the terrible wrong way
How to keep the soul in a mad novel?
What kind of doctor will the mind return,
What prophet the madman will stop?

The answer is unexpectedly simple, it lies literally on the surface and there is no need to go far beyond it, you just need to look into yourself to be able to "hear the quiet voice" behind your ignorant screams "of your conscience. It is the conscience that is the healer who "will restore the mind" and the prophet who "stops the madness" and then the wounded souls will reappear in us again, the voice of heaven in them will sound again, "the poet says hopefully in the poem" What are we guilty of, That is deeper ... "(2011).

A characteristic feature of all works of a civil-patriotic orientation is the straightforwardness of the poetic utterance and the civil courage of V. Patrushev. As a poet, he knows the real problems of life and sees much deeper and farther, understands and feels life in all its diversity immeasurably fuller than an ordinary person. In his poem "In a merry excitement, we again and again ..." (2011) Valery Konstantinovich noting that "the feast of destruction is habitually arranged for us," reveals to our reader the unconscious desire inherent in us to destroy the foundations of life and foundations. This pathological desire has the property of repeating itself, beginning with the October Revolution of 1917, when the tsarist regime was overthrown until the recent events of 1990, when the Soviet Union collapsed. If you look further into the depth of history, then such examples can be found much more. In this small but very capacious poem, Patrushev asks us all a question: "When will we guys learn how to build"? The issue is not so much direct, as metaphysical, because "for good reason we will spark God's mark." And again the answer must be sought in ourselves: what are we, our inner spiritual state, such is our society. It is the inner state of the soul that determines the whole character of human life. We will change spiritually - our society will also change, "and today we ...", alas:

... like dolls in a farce horrible,
Where the beginning and the end are insane,
Where about honor argue prostitutes
And of conscience - an unscrupulous businessman,
Where gangsters create laws for themselves,
But the truth - no cola and no yard,
Where, having stolen from the people millions,
Most loudly screaming from the stands: "Hold the thief!",
Where love is just a business without hunting ...

Oh, what strong, deeply felt, "single" words found V. Patrushev in his soul! In the poem "Don Quixote" (2010), the author literally screams about the intolerability of the current calculating "shopkeeper century", in which there is no place for "conscience, dignity and honor." And the reason is the same: the loss of moral and spiritual landmarks in life, therefore, vanity, greed, envy, pride, greed, unfriendliness and hatred are "ruling the ball". And yet the poet expresses hope for our spiritual revival:

The new plow will correct the previous flaws,
The world will understand that evil games are not worth the candle.
Someone will find old armor again
And from the rust cleans the ancient sword.

The words of the classic poet of Soviet poetry Mikhail Vasilievich Isakovsky (1900-1973) that the poet is "the bearer and creator of the spiritual culture of the people" can be relied on with Valery Konstantinovich Patrushev, because the author, taking the liberty of showing us spiritual illnesses Modern society in their work, helps to see the causes of these diseases, calls them, and knowledge of the cause is the direct path to healing. The aphoristic statement of the modern Russian aphorist and philosopher T. Travnik that "he who searches for the cause becomes the master of the investigation and the consequence obeys the searching cause" serves as a magnificent expression of the poetic skill of Valery Patrushev in a small verse form to display the enormous content and depth of his author's design.

Very interesting from a historical point of view is the poem "The Right Bank" (1989), called by the poet "a small poem". Here the author symbolically expressed the idea of the eternal desire of Russian society to moor to the "shore of the right kindness and rightness." The poetic images of the boat (the country as a whole), the helmsman (chiefs and "pilots") and oarsmen (people) created by him in this work, have great visibility and not only convey the recognizable features of the development periods of our country, but also the rulers, Standing at the helm of power from Stalin's times to our days. "The poetic image is always the translation of meaning," emphasizes the significance of the artistic image in the poetry of Federico García Lorca (1898-1936), a Spanish poet and playwright. Objectively displaying "here, as milestones, dates, dates" and aspirations of the common people, his "pain and blood and sweat", Patrushev raises the topic burning and exciting not only himself but also a wide range of readers up to the present day. Our God-kept country, continues its Way in time and space, in the hope of ever approaching the long-awaited shore:

At the helm, others sat down,
Well, but the way ... what is the path?
In vain do not offend slander,
Although not everything went on.
What kind of shore is there -
But for now ... while - sailing,
Not for power, not for glory,
Not for the honor of another.

Coast right, shore right,
My long-awaited shore.

Socially sharp in content and painfully hurt the soul of the work "Over the Motherland Crow" (2003). In it, the poet speaks openly about the rampant "host of official thieves, which is worse than crow", about the perverted understanding of freedom, which for a common man only "only to die", and for a thief - "only to steal and sell their homeland" , Who "is silly in response to silence when riot rages, when crows crowing over the house, when the robber screams ..." and about the longsuffering of a simple people who believe in happiness, in the "long-awaited right bank" and in spite of everything "digs a miserable garden, among deceptive ideas He grows bread, grows children ... " . The poet, once again puts questions to the conscience of each of us:

When are we going to give a rebuff to a thief?
When will we shut the mouth with lies?

The poem "Pimen" (2006) impresses with its depth and symbolism:

I'm Pimen.

Terrible times
My will open the letter.
I will not diminish, I will not add
By reason of his -
Descendants will leave reason
To judge: who is right and why? ..

A feature of the verse are short strong phrases that create not only the figurative fabric of the poem itself, but also set the energy rhythm of the entire work. But the main thing is in the other. Patrushev managed to philosophically comprehend and be able to express in a poetic form the modern era, and it is extremely accurate and capacious to invest in the symbolic image of Pimen's author's vision of reality, giving the most complete picture of modern life. Why did Pimen Patrushev choose the artistic image to express his thoughts in this poem?

In fact, Pimen is a generalized image of an ancient Russian monk and the central character of the tragedy of Alexander Pushkin "Boris Godunov" (1825), a monk chronicler of Chudov Monastery, "an elderly meek and humble", under whose head a young monk Grigory Otrepiev, future Pretender. Material for this image Alexander Pushkin (1799-1837) - the greatest Russian poet, drew from the "History of the Russian State" Nikolai Mikhailovich Karamzin (1766-1826) - a Russian writer, poet and historian, as well as from the epistolary and hagiographical literature XVI Century. Pushkin wrote that the character of Pimen is not his invention: "In him I collected features that captivated me in our old annals." According to Pimen's plot, the only one among the characters is an eyewitness who knows about the tragedy that occurred in Uglich, and who saw with his own eyes who slaughtered Tsarevich Dimitri. That is why, relying on this historical detail, and knowing how history is copied at all times, Patrushev puts the final phrase in Pimen's mouth in the poem: "But, hurrying to glorify the name, remember: Pimen knows the truth."

Symbolism of the poem and patrushev's innovation lies in the fact that in this poem the poet describes not only the historical fact, but emphasizes the main thing - the poet, "comprehending the era with mean lines of poetry", as Pimen is a chronicler-monk, that is, a person who knows the history , Objectively conveys, everything that is actually happening with Russia in its works (writings) to descendants, in fact, creates the poetic history of our country. And one more symbol is hidden in the name Pimen - in translation from Greek means "shepherd", "shepherd".

For many years Valery Konstantinovich has been conducting a poetic "chronicle" of all historical events of the past and present, affecting the heart of the poet. For example, in the poem "October 16, 1793" (2000), the author not only refers to the theme of the Great French Revolution that occurred in the late 18th century, as a result of which France from the monarchy became a republic of free and equal citizens, whose motto was: "Freedom, Equality, Brotherhood ", but also describes the historical fact of the execution of the French Queen Marie Antoinette, nee of the Austrian archduchess, who by fate's fate was on October 16, 1793, on the scaffold. But "to get up to the scaffold, it was necessary to descend from the throne" - this amazing author's find strengthens the tragedy of the event described by V. Patrushev. The brightest artistic images "up to the scaffold to rise" and "to descend from the throne" create in the imagination of the readers the whole terrible historical picture, reflect the general poetic intention, enrich the ideological content of this poem and possess the strongest means of influencing the reader's soul. You can not tear yourself away from this depth!

The title of the poem "Stalin" (2009) - immediately captures attention and interest in the product itself, and the ambiguous historical personality of Joseph Stalin. How does his poet Valery Patrushev see him? The poetic portrait of the "leader of all nations", written by the author, produces a deafening impression of a bomb exploding. "Tyrant with bloody hands?" But "the crowd created him with God" and "created an icon from him"! And again Patrushev, using his favorite device, this poem brings us back to ourselves: "Are not we - tormenting the question ... - writing in the silence of the denunciation"? Suddenly?! Here Patrushev says that "knowing is more difficult than cursing" and that "to understand his fall and grandeur" it is nevertheless necessary to have a desire to learn "crimes and achievements among non-puppet enemies" in order to fully understand the "tragedy of truth" about Iosif Vissarionovich. As for any power, "we get what is worthy of our business", i.e. What are we, our spiritual state, such are our rulers, and we are worthy of our rulers. After all, any ruler is a "crystal that grows on the appropriate soil," and this soil, "mother liquor" - is all of us and our inner spiritual state of each of us. Any situation in our lives, the leaders of peoples, our bosses and leaders - all this is a consequence of the causes that have a root in our hearts. About this and says Patrushev in almost every work.

The "We Are Killing" poem sounds like a tolling bell (2010). Like the bell ringing of a special order, indicating an alarm, the phrase "us-kill!" Sounds in it. It is repeated over and over again with heavy blows of the bell in every soul, emotionally capturing and drawing the attention of all of us to the danger that now hangs over our society, over each of us. To accentuate and draw the attention of the reader to those vital facts that constitute the "ordinary" canvas of our reality, Valery Konstantinovich skillfully applies such a literary stylistic device as syntactic repetition. Patrushev successfully uses it not only as a means of emotional expression, highlighting and amplifying, every vital fact that the poet leads in this work, but also imparts a peculiar rhythm and dynamics to the entire poem:

Crying the wind over the country, howling ...

We are being killed!

We are killed again and again -

A bullet and a word.

We are killed with a cowardly trembling,

Said lies ...

The rhythm-forming phrase "us-kill" acquires special significance in this poem and creates "the impression of emotional stimulation and lyrical concentration of experiences" of the author himself, thus exerting a strong influence on the reader, his consciousness and soul.

The poet's non-indifference to everything that happens and is done not only in our country, in the life of our people, but also in the world is reflected in the poem "Children Die!" (2005). Even in the title, the poet put an exclamation point that immediately attracts the attention of the reader, reveals his ideological meaning and creates a certain reader's attitude to the importance of the stated problem. It is known that infant mortality is a monstrous vital fact of our "civilized" and high-tech era. The problem that Valery Konstantinovich raised in this poem has a global social meaning, because it is also an indicator of the spiritual state of the modern world. That is why, having the gift of a poetic vision and the depth of understanding of life, Patrushev appeals to all progressive mankind - to prevent the death of children today:

Adults! We are responsible for the children,
We save their happy dreams.
These are yours, these are our children
They die in the middle of spring.

Death of children - it hurts more,
Do not choose here - these or those:
Tomorrow the whole Earth will become a desert,
If today we will not save the children.

At the hour when the sun shines over the world,
All green grass - to grow,
Children die on the planet.
Adults! We must save them!

And another very powerful message gives this work to all of us, focusing on the fact that there are no our and other people's children in the world: all the children of the Earth are OURS! And the responsibility for children of all the earth lies on the shoulders of all adults of the Earth.

Joy rises in the soul from a touch with the poetic works of Valery Patrushev, a genuine joy that embraces the whole being. The bottomlessness of the poet's philosophical thought, the uniqueness of the author's literary language, the variety of topics in the presented examples of some poems in this short article reveal the most important facets of Valery Konstantinovich's skill, emphasizing his individual style and poetic maturity, the created works. "The virtue of style," according to Aristotle, "lies in clarity." Poetry Patrushev thanks to his natural gift accurately express the idea in simple but capacious words and gives this clarity of perception, having a special euphonic melody with a unique "Patrushevsky" sound.

In the works of V.Patrushev organically combined civil, philosophical and personal motives, corresponding to the vital needs of the spiritual life of modern society. Poems about the war, about the love of the Motherland, about the love of life, for the woman, for the children, for the compatriots can not leave the hearts of their readers indifferent, creating in them the eternal values of good and love. They are so natural, with their unique color and aroma, with "zest", and sometimes, with "peppercorn", in them - the very life, breadth and nobility of the Russian soul.

The sharply sharpened poetic "burning" word of the author in satirical poems, epigrams and parodies, fables and fables, expressing, at times, a burning irony and ridicule easily "penetrates through the nature of the Russian man, picking up everything for life." The meticulously said Russian word, the turn of the people's speech, talentedly embedded in the poetic fabric of the poem, gives the entire product dynamics and volume, makes it memorable, breathing. To paraphrase Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol (1809-1852) - the great Russian writer, I note that "there is no word that would be so zamashisto, briskly, so it would break out from under the heart, so it would boil and shiver", as the satirical word of Valery Patrushev ...

About the talent of Valery Patrushev you can speak endlessly and "thrilled" so much, the works created by the master are close and consonant with the soul. His poems have an amazing quality: you come back to them again and again, read them with relish, each time admiring the inimitability and luxury of the masterful style of Valery Konstantinovich, and ... always waiting with faltering heart for new encounters with the Poet.

Straightness and civility of the poet admire!
