The principle of systemic character in determining the strategy for managing innovation activity

In the generally accepted sense, the strategy in the business sphere is viewed as a general direction of activity ensuring the coordination of the company's goals, capabilities, and the interests of its employees. When developing a strategy, it is necessary to comply with the principle of systematic and take into account the real conditions of a specific period of development of the corporation.

Corporate business strategy, using as a basic principle of systemic management, means the ability to effectively use the available material and intellectual resources in order to achieve the maximum possible results. For commercial organizations it is the receipt of economic (income, profit) or social effect through the production or provision of services with the lowest costs and the qualitative satisfaction of market needs. Successful sales of products (services) can be provided with competitive advantages. Therefore, the strategy should provide for (in addition to such sections as the corporate mission, the principle of consistency, products (services), business portfolio, resources, investment attraction) the development and use of innovations on the basis of which new technologies will be mastered, new types of goods created or existing ones improved, Access to new markets is ensured.

The definition of the strategy for each organization has its own original approaches, taking into account the principle of systemic nature in psychology and depending on the intellectual potential, development dynamics, market position, the features of the products or services provided, financial position and other factors. At the same time, as experts note, a certain hypothetical structure of the strategic plan has emerged, allowing to apply the principle of systematicity in assessing the production and economic and commercial activities, the effectiveness of resource management. The central place in this structure is occupied by innovative activity as the most important factor influencing achievement of the purposes of the organization.

The principle of systematicity provides that the indispensable conditions for the implementation of a management strategy based on innovation are:

1) the presence of an innovative center capable of generating creative ideas and creating new technical (technological) solutions at the level of inventions;

2) an effective system for selecting innovative projects by assessing their technical and economic importance;

3) a program-targeted approach to the development and implementation of projects;

4) individual and collective interest in achieving the objectives of the project;

5) economic and social conditions that ensure susceptibility to innovation;

6) an effective project management system;

7) orientation to meet the needs of the market.

The main system tasks of such an innovation center:

A) definition of directions of innovative development of the organization;

B) generating an idea (idea) for the creation of a new product or technology;

C) selecting and evaluating available alternative solutions that can be used as analogs;

D) the development of an R & D program and an organizational model for its implementation;

E) development of technical documentation and verification of manufacturability of the new product;

E) justification of economic efficiency indicators and the necessary financial resources (budget) for its implementation.

Given the growing level of international competition and the desire to be leaders in the production of new products, which requires high R & D costs, along with existing research centers, it is advisable to establish research consortiums. Their task is the formation of concepts of modern technologies, and the development of individualized products and processes is carried out by intra-firm innovation centers.
