The "Luna" band is a Russian rock band with female vocals. The name of this collective came from the stage name of the soloist. Currently, the rock band is just gaining popularity, but some of its songs already occupy the top lines of the charts.

The beginning of creative activity

The rock group was founded in autumn 2008 in Moscow. The creators were the musicians of another active group, Tracktor Bowling, in particular Vitaliy Demidenko and Lusine Gevorgyan. A little later they were joined by Sergei Ponkratiev, drummer Leonid Kizbursky and guitarist Ruben Kazaryan. Already from the very beginning of the group's creation, its participants wanted to invest more in their songs so that listeners could think about it. It was this acute sociality of texts and the energy of music that was to bring success to rockers.

Moscow institution called "Point" was the first place where musicians performed. We can say that this day (May 23, 2009) was the birthday of the "Luna" group. In the same year, almost unknown performers won the RAMP honorary award. Since then, the "Luna" group has become more famous, it began to be invited to all sorts of rock parties, she became a headliner at various rock concerts.

2010-2012

2010 was a turning point for the team of musicians. That's when the participants create their original album, which is called "Make it louder!". The unconventional performance of the compositions and the deep social meaning of the songs attracted the attention not only of numerous fans of heavy music, but also of journalists.

The year 2011 was also fruitful. The "Luna" band took part in the "Invasion" festival together with the famous "old men" of the rock direction. Among them were "DDT", "Spleen", "Chaif", "Bi-2" and many others. In the same year, the musicians released a single called "Fight Club", which came in second place on the radio station "Our radio" and lasted more than 16 weeks.

The second album, titled "Time X", "Luna" (a rock band that has already become popular) was released in February 2012. Following the publication of this collection, young guys give concerts in Moscow and the Northern capital. The song from this album "Everybody's right" became popular, which also got into the ratings, took the third place in the "Our Radio" chart, having stayed there for more than two months.

Touring in the USA

Having published the English-language album in 2013, the group "Luna" went to conquer the United States. Together with other popular American rock bands, musicians traveled around 26 US cities. In general, the North American tour can be called successful. The group was noticed and accepted very well. One of the songs of "Moon" Up There entered the top twenty of one of the American radio stations, taking the 13th place. Moreover, this song was mentioned in his blog by such famous rocker as Nikki Sixx, bassist Motley Crue. All the attributes, not to mention the band's albums, were sold during the American tour.

2014-2016

2014 and 2015 for the rock band were also very laborious. The musicians actively continued to work on the creation of new albums, while simultaneously performing at concerts in different regions of Russia. Rockers are invited to various premieres, concerts, events, they are in demand more than ever. Only in the first half of 2015 the rock band performed in forty cities of the country. The same years the band collaborated with the symphony orchestra, recorded individual compositions that were very well received by music critics.

In 2016, on the assurances of the participants, they will continue to work actively and will try not to disappoint their fans. In January they created a song called "18+". The musicians insist that they will not stop there. The new songs of "Luna" will be heard by their fans later. Fans, as always, can only wait for new and interesting works of the creative team.
