Vasily Kobin is a famous Ukrainian football player, a pupil of Uzhgorod football. In "Transcarpathia" he was called the soul of the team, and in the first season in the "Carpathian" he received the prize "Star of the Carpathians".

Transcarpathia - the birthplace of the football player

Vasily Kobin was born on May 24, 1985. He was born not in the regional center, but in the village of Strabichovo, Mukacheve district. A few years after the birth of Vasily, the Kobiny family moved to Uzhgorod, so he received football education in the youth teams of Uzhhorod.

The first coach in junior football was the Hungarian Imre Lendel, who worked in the Uzhhorod Youth Sports School. As part of the teams, SDYUSHOR and DYUSSH-1 played for the corresponding age groups in the championship of the Children's and Youth Football League of Ukraine.

The debut at the professional level

At the age of 16 he played for the first time at the level of professionals. Then there was such a team as "Transcarpathia-2", who played in the second league of Ukrainian football. The first match in this team was held at the age of 16 years and 59 days on July 22, 2001. The rival was also from Western Ukraine - now the nonexistent command "Podillya" (Khmelnitsky). Cobin in the starting duel could not score, although his team won with a score of 3: 0. In the season of 2001/2002 for the take of the Uzhgorod club Vasily Kobin spent 15 bouts, in which he scored 1 goal to the opponents' goal.

At a higher level in the first Ukrainian league he played two seasons (from 2002 to 2004). In the season 2002/2003, that is, immediately after the transfer from the double, Kobin played only 6 fights for the basis. The period 2003/2004 became for "Transcarpathia" gold in the first league. Footballer from the Mukacheve district appeared on the field 21 times. One time I scored a goal in the goal.

Kobin declared himself in the elite

The country learned about the possibilities of Kobin as a player already in 2004. The fact is that the matches of the 1st and 2nd leagues were not broadcast on television, but the competitions of the top division, where the "Transcarpathia" debuted on July 20, 2004, was shown.

Immediately on the share of the team fell a serious test - a duel against the capital's "Dynamo". By the way, in his interviews Vasily often spoke about that match. Debut, nerves, and then immediately the champions ... Uzhgorod lost decently - 1: 2.

In the top league for "Transcarpathia" Vasily Kobin spent 47 matches and scored 4 goals. In the 2006/2007 season, the player moves to the Lviv "Carpathians". This transition can be regarded as an improvement, because the "Carpathians" in their game level and success have always been and are more successful than Uzhgorod citizens. 3 seasons, 83 duel, 11 goals ... All these matches played almost without replacements Vasily Kobin. Footballer became the leader of the team, that's why the trainers of Donetsk "Shakhtar" paid attention to him.

Shakhtar and Kobin: what does not work?

In the summer of 2009, Vasily Kobin moves to Shakhtar Donetsk. At that time he was on the crest of fame, he was the leader of the Lviv "Carpathians", which also then strengthened and rose. The choice in favor of Shakhtar looked quite logical, because the club had just won the UEFA Cup. The mistake of Kobin became visible not immediately, because in the 2009/2010 season he played 28 matches in the first team. The following year it became clear that Kobin was losing the competition for the position of the captain of "Shakhtar" and the Croatian national team Dario Srne. What is the reason? Probably in stability. Although the experience and Kobin already at that time was enough, but that's more stability in the Croats. Also, in his technical arsenal, Kobin was able to bring up fewer sports skills. For example, he is not as effective in attack as Dario Srna.

The number of matches held in the team, with each season was becoming less. From 2010 to 2016, he played for Shakhtar just 31 matches. Twice he was leased out: Soligorsk "Shakhtar" and "Metalist". We are talking about the last two years - 2014 and 2015. While in the lease, Vasily Kobin (photo attached) played a total of 20 matches, that is, on average for the season he played more matches than it was in Shakhtar. Probably, he should change the team.

Vasily Kobin is a very talented and somewhat original Ukrainian football player who could not fully realize his talent.
