The musical comedy "Heavenly Swallows", whose actors rattled their names throughout the Soviet Union, was shot by director Leonid Kvinikhidze in 1976. The film features wonderful songs written by Victor Lebedev, and an easy uncomplicated plot allows you to relax in the 126 minutes that the film lasts . The creators of the picture

The first notable work of Leonid Kvinikhidze in the cinema is connected with the novel "The Hyperboloid of the Engineer Garin", on the motives of which the director directed the series "The Collapse of Engineer Garin". Then, Quinikhidze produced a whole series of cult films that viewers repeatedly review even today: we are talking about the Straw Hat, the fairy tale Mary Poppins, Goodbye !, and of course the Heavenly Swallows.

The material for "Heavenly Swallows" for the director was filmed by cameraman Nikolai Zhilin, who worked on Mikhail Ershov's drama "Chelyuskinsky".

Especially for the comedy Quinikhidze wonderful songs were written by the musician Victor Lebedev, who is also known for his compositions created for the films "Diary of the director of the school", "Look for a woman" and "Midshipmen, forward!"

Filming took place in the Vorontsov Palace, located near Alupka. Part of the material was filmed in the streets of Yalta.

Short story

The actors of the film "Celestial Swallows" play a funny story in the frame of a young mischievous pupil of a boarding house, who escapes from a monastic abode and becomes an actress of a variety show.

Denise de Florigny, in the face of the nuns, who teach the girls of the boarding house good manners, is a humble and submissive person. But in fact, she hides from all dreams of becoming a famous actress, who bathes in the rays of glory and colors from grateful fans.

Not only Denise is hypocritical in this monastery: a music teacher, a certain Celestin, in the afternoon depicts himself as a pious monsieur of strict rules, and in the evening composes frivolous operettas for a local theater.

And once Denise is informed that she was betrothed to one young man and will soon be married. From the guest house, the girl should have been taken by Mr. Celestin. However, instead they found themselves in a local variety show, where Denise had to save the spectacle of Mr. Celestin from collapse. As a result, the whole story turns into a completely unexpected ending.

When Iya Ninidze got a role in the movie Kvinikhidze, she was only 14 years old. It was a landmark film: Ninidze, famous for the whole of the Soviet Union, was made "Celestial Swallows". The actors who starred with Yei in the film had a lot of experience and sonorous names. However, Ninidze was not lost on their background and took a worthy place in the picture.

Iya Ninidze was an excellent dancer and from childhood she starred in films ("Do not Grieve!", "First Swallow"). However, she could not sing, so the role of Denise was voiced by the singer Elena Dryatskaya, who had a sonorous youthful voice.

After participating in this project, Iya Ninidze went to receive higher acting education in VGIK. After graduating from the university, the actress worked for more than ten years at the Tbilisi Drama Theater. In the late 90's, she had to move to Moscow and start performing in the theater-cabaret "The Bat". Soon a massive decoration fell on her, and because of the injuries Ninidze had to leave the scene for a while.

Andrew Mironov - the hero of his time, a pet ladies. He knew how to like not only the audience, but also the filmmakers of the country, so the artist was shot in the best films of the USSR. Each second tape with the participation of Mironov entered the gold collection of Soviet cinema.

In the film "Celestial Swallows" actors Mironov and Ninidze played a teacher and a student. Mr. Celestin, according to the plot, taught music in the boarding school of young Denise. However, Celestin had a little secret: it was for the abbesses of the monastery and pupils, he was a pious and moral moral, and in his spare time in the city he was known as Floridor, a writer of operettas for a local cabaret.

Once Celesten was instructed to conduct Denise before the train, but the composer needed to settle his affairs in the theater, so he leaves Denise unattended. The girl uses this chance to feel like a star of the operetta for at least a minute.

Irina Gubanova in Leonid Kvinikhidze's film performed the role of abbess of the monastery, in which girls from decent families are brought up. Her heroine piously believes in her good deed, but the comic situation is that Carolina does not even suspect what's going on in her boarding school: girls dream of novels with the military, the most exemplary student Denise plans to escape from her parents, and the well-mannered lord Selesten is in fact Leads a double life. In a word, worldly life is raging in the monastery "Celestial Swallows".

Actors Irina Gubanova, Lyudmila Gurchenko, Alexander Shirvindt were very popular in the USSR. Her career began in Gubanov's lyrical comedy Ryazanov's "Girl without an address," playing the neighbor of the main character in the room. Then there was the role of Pauline in the motion picture by R. Tikhomirov "The Queen of Spades" and the role of Svetlana in Annensky's melodrama "The First Trolleybus". The biography of the actors of the film "Celestial Swallows" is like a script for a separate film. By the way, the TV channel "Russia-1" recently devoted a whole series to the life and creative work of People's Artist of the USSR Lyudmila Gurchenko.

Ludmila Markovna was one of those rare actresses who knew how to create memorable images and at the same time sang well. Gurchenko starred in many musical films ("Carnival Night", "Straw Hat") and at the same time performed the vocal parts of her characters on her own.

There were also many serious dramatic roles in the career: for example, in the films "Station for Two", "The Baltic Sky", "Love and Pigeons".

In "Heavenly Swallows" Gurchenko got the role of the prima opera theater of Koko, which on the day of the display of one of the performances of Floridor fled with a military officer. After such a state of emergency, the director of the theater simply had to urgently introduce young Deniz into the play, which offered her services.
