The drug "Vitafel" for cats: indications and dosages

Serum for cats "Vitafel" is issued in ampoules of 1 ml or bottles with the same volume. Immunity, developed as a result of the use of the drug, persists for two weeks or more.

Indications for the use of the drug "Vitafel" are the following: treatment and prevention of calicivirosis, chlamydia, panleukopenia in felines. It is also allowed to use the drug for preventive purposes in diseases that are unfavorable for diseases, to exclude the possibility of infection of healthy animals according to clinical signs. Also, it will not be superfluous to use "Vitafel" for cats before the participation of pets in exhibitions, before knitting. When using "Vitafel", the following dosages should be observed: for cats weighing not more than 10 kg - 1 ml, more than 10 kg - 2 ml of the agent once or twice, maintaining the interval of 1 day.

When the passive immunity expires, the vaccine is given for active development. In cases of suspicion of infection of the animal, the drug "Vitafel" for cats is administered subcutaneously, in doses that are indicated above, 3-4 times. It all depends on the severity of the pet's condition.

The "Vitafel" remedy for cats, the price for which varies between 150-200 rubles, can also be used for symptomatic treatment of diseases. For example, with conjunctivitis caused by the herpes virus, chlamydia, the drug is used as eye drops along with subcutaneous injection. It is necessary to drip 3 drops in each eye 2-3 times a day, with a break of 6-8 hours.

Side effects during the use of the drug are not identified. In most cases, only pain was noted at the time of administration of the drug to the animals. Contraindications to use may include previous allergic reactions.

In the presence of any impurities in the preparation that do not disappear after shaking, as well as mold vials should be disposed of.

Serum should be stored in a dark cool place, the temperature in which does not exceed 20 degrees. Shelf life is two years. Do not store in the open for a long time, as the product loses its useful properties, and the use of the drug will not give the expected result.
