The drug "Carnitine": instructions for use

In acute forms of disturbances in the cerebral circulation system, one gram of the drug should be taken for the first three days, and then 0.5 grams per week. Ten to twelve days are recommended to repeat the course of treatment.
Use of the stimulant drug "Carnitine" is strictly prohibited in the case of increased individual sensitivity of the patient's body to chloride carnitine. In addition, do not use this product during pregnancy or during the lactation period.
If to speak about the most widespread by-effects connected with application of this biological additive, first of all it is necessary to allocate various allergic reactions (an eruption, an itch, a urticaria). In addition, patients suffering from uremia, tablets "Carnitine" can cause muscle weakness. It is also worth noting that with the rapid introduction of the concentrate, painful sensations may appear along the veins, which gradually pass with a decrease in the rate of administration of the drug.
