Anna Sokolova: biography of a young Russian gymnast

Anna Sokolova was born in Yaroslavl on January 3, 2002. At the moment she is 15 years old. She is a member of the team in rhythmic gymnastics, as well as a multiple winner and prize-winner of the international level.

Soon after the appearance of Ani, the family of the Sokolovs moved from Yaroslavl to the town of Dmitrov near Moscow. There, the girl began attending the rhythmic gymnastics section, which was directed by Anna Shumilova-Dyachenko.

Achievements

The first big success came to our heroine in 2012. Anechka took the 4th place in the "Rus" championship. The fact that the girl was not the first, did not upset her at all. After all, she was at the beginning of her sports career. In the same 2012, Sokolova becomes a participant of the All-Russian tournament "Young gymnasts". But the young athlete did not enter even the top five, finishing only the tenth place.
