How to collect large puzzles: ways and tips

The first thing to do before starting the assembly is to prepare a sufficient number of tightly closed containers. They will store the items after sorting.

How to start and how to collect puzzles? When assembling large paintings, a huge amount of time is spent on sorting out numerous details. It is with the primary sorting that the process of getting acquainted with the new puzzle begins. Having carefully considered the image in the picture, it is necessary to conditionally divide it into zones. Next, you need to sort the pieces, grouping them according to different attributes.

  • In some paintings, individual objects are clearly visible - in this case, the pieces are decomposed into containers according to the object they are related to.
  • If it is impossible to identify individual objects on pieces, the elements can be sorted according to the color scheme (greenery - one cluster, the sky - another, dark ones - the third, etc.).
  • Details that can not be attributed to any of the groups are postponed to a separate group.
  • Be sure to separately postpone the details, in which one (two) sides are even - from them you will need to assemble a frame. This will be the beginning of the build process. It is always advisable to start the assembly from the frame. And when collecting the biggest puzzles, you just need to first collect the frame so that the dimensions of the picture can be clearly seen.

When the frame is ready, it is advisable to begin to collect a fragment adjacent to it. The main thing is that its details are easily identified. You can also collect individual parts of the picture, placing them approximately in the parts of the puzzle where they belong.

The most complex parts of the image (for example, background or monochromatic areas) should be collected by selection. Selecting the appropriate parts, they should simply be alternately applied to the assembled sections, thus finding the place of each part. Elements should absolutely exactly fit together, without any effort when folding. There should also be no gaps between them. Sometimes some of their tricks and methods arise in the process of collecting, so the question of how to collect puzzles as conveniently and quickly as possible, each will have its own answer.

Where to collect puzzles?

Determine the place of assembly of the future picture before the box with the details is unpacked. Because the process will take a long time, you need to take care that the puzzle is located in a place where no one will walk through it. It is desirable that the selected location is well illuminated. Often there are tips to collect large complex puzzles on the table, because it is much more convenient than on the floor. However, if we are talking about a large picture consisting of thousands of elements, it is often impossible to find a suitable table by the size.

Of course, you can collect the picture and directly on the floor. But it is much better to do this on a special rug for assembling puzzles or on a sheet of plywood.

What to do with the collected puzzles?

After a puzzle of several thousand pieces is collected, a natural question arises about what to do with it further. There are only two options:

1) Admire, photograph, disassemble and leave until the next time.

2) Glue the elements into a single picture and find a suitable place for it.

Fans of collecting puzzles often choose the second option, because it is not interesting for many to collect the same image twice. In addition, large pictures of puzzles can be an effective decoration of the interior of the apartment, house, cottage, office space. For gluing the details of the puzzle, a special adhesive is used, usually for this purpose, an adhesive tape or a self-adhesive film.
