The best Thai lacquers (list)

Lakorns are Thai, less often Filipino dorums, that is, Asian television series. They can be based on the story of a popular anime or manga, but mostly are full-fledged independent creations. Unlike all the well-known Brazilian "soap operas", Thai lakorns are designed primarily for young audiences. The majority of fans of this genre are young girls under 25 years old. Thai television series are released in different genres: fantasy, mysticism, drama, but most often these are romantic comedies or melodramas. The length of such a teleproject traditionally does not exceed fifty series.

Mandatory Thai evening ritual

It should be noted that Thai lakorns in their homeland are more than popular. They are watched every day everywhere: during dinner, in cafes, in train stations, in workshops and in store windows. For a long time, serials are an obligatory ritual in the life of the local population. More recently, Thai "soap operas" have become popular in Europe and Russia, because among the Russian-speaking population there are quite a few ardent admirers of Asian creativity. The first to venture to conquer the world's blue screens, were the dramas, that is, Chinese, Korean and Japanese TV series. Now they are not lagging behind.

Some regularities and features

Thai lakorns have a number of distinctive features inherent exclusively to them and distinguishing them from other serials:

  1. In no such child of Thai cinema the viewer will not see scenes with passionate kisses, since in this state it is not accepted to expose their feelings for show. On one of the local channels, such scenes are officially banned for broadcasting.
  2. Nevertheless, the best Thai lakorns have a lot of scenes showing violence, including rape. It can not be said that local directors delightfully savored all the eerie and repulsive details, but simply with an enviable regularity include them in the plot of each project. You should not try to understand this, you should not analyze it, you can just try to accept it.
  3. The main antagonist will be recognized immediately by an unsettling musical accompaniment and a brand-new cunning smirk (these two features will be accompanied by the villain throughout the entire time-keeping).
  4. Emotions of the main characters are very hypertrophied, but it is immediately clear where the grief is, and where the joy is. This is Thailand! Thai lacorne is simple and easily perceivable.
  5. Central characters always have one or several friends who in every way contribute to their early joint happiness.
  6. The main characters always talk about themselves in the third person, for example, not "I want", but "Rasa wants." Among fans of this genre, it is considered very nice.

All Western in price

It is also a strange fact that everything Western that appears in the frame is considered incredibly prestigious. If the brand of clothing - it's only "Dior" and "Chanel". If the house of a well-to-do family is shown, its arrangement will be carried out strictly according to European standards. If the characters speak English, it is positioned as a special virtue. All the rich and respected heroes in the script have just returned from the US or Europe. And so on...

For advanced fans

It's no secret that such creations of Asian cinema are very popular among teenagers, so you can find and view them in popular social networks, which are frequented by modern youth. Of course, to find such a "soap" with a decent voice acting in Russian is quite difficult. However, Thai lakorns "In contact" are offered for viewing with Russian subtitles, which is quite interesting, because original voices and intonations of actors remain.

With what to begin?

If you have a desire to join the fans of this heat, you can consider two options. The first is to view classic samples like "Abandoned Paradise" or "Pin Anon", the second involves studying the classification, so as not to spoil the first impression and guess at least with the genre of the series. Thai lacorne, the list of which will be presented below, will be a good choice for both the beginning spectator and fanatical devotee.

Classics of the genre

In 2014, the Thai lakorn "Hate in spite of", which thanks to the construction of the storyline, intrigue and acting casting, can be considered the standard of this genre. Its duration is only 15 episodes, the plot is built on a mixture of romance, love and revenge. The main character Kin - the president of a large corporation - leads his favorite Kanok under the crown, with whom he meets for 7 whole years. But the bride on the eve of the wedding night decides to run to her house, in order to pick up one of the forgotten wedding gifts.

At this time the beautiful Tavan escapes from the groom, breaks off the engagement, having learned that he shamelessly changes her for two years, and his mistress is pregnant.

Kanok, taking the gift, hurries to her husband along the rainy streets on her car and, not noticing the frustrated Tavan, knocks her down. After the accident Kanok dies, Tavan gets into intensive care. Unfortunate Kin in desperation rushes to the hospital to find out who is guilty of the death of his young wife, and, recognizing Tavan's name, swears to take revenge on her. This is such a dashingly twisted plot is typical for most Thai TV series.

Classification by genre

Absolutely all Thai series can be divided into genre groups. However, it should be noted that there are almost no genre cinematographic projects. In every film, and even more so in the series, you can always find a close interlacing of several sub-genres:

  1. Melodrama (she's also a romantic). The brightest representatives of this section are: "Heart of Akkani", "Golden Trinity", "Enchanted Wyapak", "Love Trap of Patapi", 4 love stories - "Himalayas of Tara", "Pin Anon", "Taddao Bussaya" and, of course, "In the sunshine".
  2. Comedy. These series will make you not just smile, but also burst into laughter: "The maid with the bloat," "The deadline ... get married" and the classic of the genre - "Restless girl."
  3. Specially youth lacquers: "Baby" and "Kun Tea Ronnapi."
  4. Horror / horror. In this direction, quite a few pictures have been produced, of which the "Silk Trail" can be named.
  5. Mysticism (not horror!) - "Enchanted Wyapak."
  6. Fantastic (fantasy). This section presents a picture with an interesting name for fantasy - "Love never dies."

Classification by subject and semantic load

Thai lankors mostly exaggerate the burning issues, among which are:

  1. All varieties and consequences of marriage by calculation: "Vanida", "One hundred ways of insidious seducer", "Mad wedding".
  2. The main character intentionally or mistakenly steals the main heroine: "In captivity of love", "Pin Anon", "How to get married", "Abandoned Paradise", "The bonds of love", "The thief who stole my heart", "Cupid Networks" "Passionate, beautiful and lonely", "The law of honor", "Bitter honey", "Wild heat of love", "Rainbow flame", "Under one sky", "One hundred ways of insidious seducer".
  3. Revenge, revenge, etc.: "And tomorrow I will still love you", "In the sunshine".
  4. Separately highlight the series, in which there are scenes of cruelty and violence. Weak and impressionable are not recommended. Among them: "Turn of love", "Bitter honey", "Law of honor", "Abandoned paradise", "Incredible Bo", "In captivity of love", "One hundred ways of insidious seducer", "A thief who stole my heart", " Rainbow flame. "
