The abandoned hospital in Khovrino. Khovrin Hospital: Myths and Legends

Khovrina abandoned hospital (KhZB) is a building located in the Northern District of Moscow, in the Khovrino district. Near the hospital there is a railway station, located on the road leading to St. Petersburg.

History of creation

For the first time there are references to the hospital back in 1979. However, construction began only in 1980. The authors of the project were I. Ya. Yadrov, I. Kosnikova, K. Knyazeva, A. Saukke, A. Moiseenko and N. Pokrovskaya. Hospital Khovrina was built under the strict guidance of IA Tsfasa, E. Antonov, V. Paikova and L. Krylyshkin. Five years later, in 1985, the structure was stopped. For thirty years the building has been unfinished and is considered abandoned.

According to some reports, the construction of the hospital was located on the site of the old cemetery. At the very beginning of the construction work the ground was concreted. The unfinished hospital in Khovrino was closed before the end of all works: the exterior of the building was completely ready, only the internal layout remained.

The true reasons for stopping construction are still classified as "secret". However, there are several versions:

  1. The property department of the city of Moscow did not have ownership of the property.
  2. According to the mistakes of geologists, the building was built over an underground river, so it began to go underground.
  3. Errors in the design. Because of unstable soils, the building falls down.
  4. Lack of funding.

What really affected the closure of the hospital is unknown. At first the object was protected and was considered "strategically important", but after a while it became completely abandoned.

Structure and appearance

The Khovrin Hospital has a very unusual layout and has two buildings. The main one is built in the form of a three-beam star with six branches at the ends. These three wings are connected in the middle. If you look at the object from above, then the construction of the building resembles the sign of Biohazard ("biological danger"). In the main building there are eleven floors and a three-level roof.

The second building was ophthalmologic. It consists of three floors, where the morgue and crematorium were located.

The basement of the building is very large and leaves on four floors in depth. To date, it is partially flooded with water, which does not go away in winter or in summer. Despite the temperature, the water is always covered with a thick layer of ice.

According to the project, the Khovrin hospital contained several races for ambulances and its own helicopter pad. Due to the termination of construction in the building, the interfloor ceilings remained unfinished, there are no partitions and some fragments of the walls. According to estimates of specialists, by 2015 the hospital had gone underground by 12 meters. And the first floor, located at the level of the road, fell much lower. In addition, cracks began to form on the walls of the building.

The sect "Nemostor"

The unfinished hospital in Khovrino was guarded by the military for a year after the construction was frozen. When they left the area, the building became interested in fans of thrill. And Satanists became the first of such. Their sect was called Nemostor.

It is believed that the Satanists gathered in the hospital for the black masses. They occurred in the walls of the basement, where there were no windows and where sunlight did not penetrate. They set up their sanctuary and built a church where they offered human sacrifices. In addition, the Satanists held dark rituals and mass orgies.

In the late 80's - early 90-ies of the twentieth century in the Khovrino area, cases of missing people became more frequent. Disappeared not only citizens without a specific place of residence, but also children, adolescents, as well as animals. It was believed that all the victims were subjected to sacrifice to Satan, so they were sent to the oven and burned. The abandoned hospital in Khovrino stores in its basement two such stoves and satanic churches that were not flooded with water.

The sectarians did not last long. When the local law enforcement bodies learned about the sect , an order was received to put the hospital building in order. The riot squad stormed the object, but the Satanists did not intend to surrender. Then there are two versions of the events:

  1. The sectarians were caught. They were not brought to the police station, but were shot in the basement, and then they filled it with water.
  2. The sectarians resisted, but they were driven into a tunnel in the basement. Further, the OMON detachment blew up the tunnel from both sides and flooded it with water. As a result, the Satanists drowned.

Such events, according to rumors, took place in the Khovrino district. The hospital (photo below) was temporarily empty, taking the lives of the Satanists in a terrible basement.

The Black Masses of the Satanists

Mass is the main Christian and Catholic ritual of worship. The Black Mass is a ceremony directed against Christianity, or a satanic form of ritual.

Satanists who performed the black masses, defiled Christian symbols. For example:

  • Instead of white put black candles.
  • Cross turned over.
  • They used a six-pointed star.
  • On the altar burned mushrooms that have a narcotic effect in order to reach a distracted state as quickly as possible.
  • The leader of the sect read the sermons and glorified Satan.
  • Read the prayers in reverse order.
  • They cursed the Christian religion and Jesus.

The leader threw a cross with the crucified Jesus to the ground, and the sectarians tried in every possible way to defile him. All this ended in mass orgies, and the Satanists were in a "trance".

Name from stalkers

Stalkers - the English word, translates as "hunter". This term was coined by the Strugatsky brothers to denote professionals who conduct people in forbidden areas or on prohibited objects (the Strugatsky brothers are science fiction writers from the Soviet Union).

Since the building of the hospital is considered unfit, without experienced stalkers there is better not to appear. They know all the dangerous places and help to avoid an accident. It is because the abandoned hospital in Khovrino, more precisely its structure, resembles the sign "biochemical danger", the stalkers called it Ambrella.

In Umbrella, not only did sacrifices occur, but there were also murders and even suicides. The hospital did not become a place where lives are saved, it has become a place that takes these lives. She took lives because of faith, chance or unrequited love.

Umbrella - psychoneurological hospital

Psychoneurology is a branch of psychiatry and neuropathology, which studies neuroses. Neuroses are a group of mental disorders.

Psychoneurological hospital in Khovrino was to become the largest in the district. The building was designed for 1300 seats. Everything was already ready: the plumbing was in place, the pipes were made without flaws, the glass and frame were inserted, and there were signs on the doors. Above the rest was still a huge work. In addition, furniture and equipment were imported to some of the offices.

When the project was frozen, hospitals were put on guard around the perimeter. The year the building was under strict control, and after it became useless to nobody. It was then that looting began on the part of the population. They carried away the plumbing, removed the tiles and glass, the pipes were handed over for scrap.

The hospital was supposed to save lives, treat children. More than 1000 patients could change their lives and improve their health, but this was not allowed to come true. Thus, the children's psychoneurological hospital in Khovrino could help children, but now, on the contrary, it takes their lives from them.

Myths and legends about Khovrinsk hospital

There are a lot of legends surrounding the building of the hospital. Here are some of them:

  1. The most famous is about satanists "Nemostor". They brought sacrifices of both humans and animals. However, none of the sectarians are no longer alive.
  2. It is believed that the hospital Khovrina takes away those who awakened the souls of the dead. There was an old woman who lost her dog. She found her remains in the basement of the hospital. In addition to her dog, there were corpses and other dogs. With "evidence" she went to the local authorities, a criminal case was opened. A few days later, my grandmother went to Khovrino and fell into a trap. Having broken both her legs, she died long and painfully.
  3. It is believed that in the hospital you can see ghosts. They often appear at night and can drive a person mad.
  4. They say that the hospital is very cold. Although there are no windows and doors, however, the temperature is much lower than outside the building.
  5. There were rumors that the structure was very quiet, even the singing of birds was not audible. And in such a deathly silence you can hear the crying or screaming of the child, as well as the sinister quiet music coming from the cellar.

Children's Hospital (Khovrino): our days

Despite strict control, another sect of Satanists settled in the hospital. They are not afraid of the terrible fate of their predecessors. They conduct their rituals in the very middle of the building - on the fifth floor, gather after sunset and do not use human sacrifices.

After numerous murders in the building of the hospital, on the perimeter of the territory there were observation posts and guards. Around the facility there is an iron fence with barbed wire. However, this does not stop stalkers or just curious. According to statistics, in 2004 about 10 people entered the hospital territory, 6 of them were found dead. During the summer of 2006, 13 bodies were found.

In the building people are still disappearing and dying. In the local office there are more than 1500 applications for Umbrella. Therefore, the chain of bodies found there does not stop.

Plans for an abandoned building

For 24 years the neurological hospital (Khovrino) stood and attracted extremists. But in 2009 the whole complex of the unfinished hospital was transferred to the ownership of the city of Moscow. Ownership rights have been registered. In the same year, the question of the demolition of the building is raised. Some investor agreed to demolish the hospital at his own expense, but in return he demanded a land plot on which the hospital was located. The property department gave its consent, but the demolition of the property did not happen, since the investor disappeared under unclear circumstances.

Three years later, in 2012, the question of the demolition of the hospital and the construction of two new buildings in its place again arise. In autumn, the land with the object was auctioned for a very high price - 1 billion 800 million rubles. The building was not redeemed.

In 2014, they decided to demolish the hospital building and build a new medical building on this site. Therefore, in 2015, raised the issue of the demolition of the Khovrin hospital at the expense of public funds. After this, the land will be auctioned off for the construction of a new medical center.
