Tashkov Evgeniy Ivanovich: biography and interesting facts

His contribution to Soviet cinema was immensely huge. He played on the set, made films that later went into the gold fund of our cinema, wrote excellent scripts for the paintings and, of course, passed on the invaluable experience of the actor, director and screenwriter to the younger generation. Tashkov Evgeny Ivanovich, being a true patriot of his country, repeatedly stressed that domestic cinema should carry a "teaching" mission, and this goal is achieved only when the viewer misses the feelings and experiences of the protagonist through himself. Undoubtedly, his talent was multifaceted. But where did Tashkov Evgeny Ivanovich begin his career and what did he leave behind? Let's consider this issue in more detail.

Years of childhood and adolescence

Tashkov Evgeny Ivanovich is a native of the village of Bykovo, located in the Volgograd region. He was born on December 18, 1926. However, the documents wrote that he was born on January 1, 1927. It was this fact that later influenced the fact that the future director was not taken to the front and he was not killed. Evgeny's childhood was not rosy: his father was repressed, and the family wore the brand of the enemy of the people.

He studied at a regular rural school. When the war began, the teenager began to work on the collective farm, making two norms a day. As a child, Eugene attended a drama circle, which was organized by an actress. Once he was offered to play a role from Chekhov's "Bear". Tashkov brilliantly coped with the task, and received a gift with a photo album with the inscription: "Zhenya, your way is art!". This fact determined the choice of the future profession.

Learning acting skills

But after school, Tashkov Eugene Ivanovich entered the railway institute. However, after studying there for a while, the young man realized that he made a mistake with the university. He decided to become an actor and submitted documents to VGIK. There were difficulties with housing: he had no one to stay in crowded Moscow. But all the same the young man has found acquaintances who have sheltered him. Having successfully passed the exams, he became a student of a theatrical high school. Mentors of the young man turned out to be the famous actor couple: Boris Bibikov and Olga Pyzhova. In 1950, Tashkov Eugene Ivanovich, whose biography is of great interest to many, becomes a graduate of VGIK.

Actor career

The dramatic film "Commander of the ship" (directed by V. Brown, 1954) became a test ball of the novice lyceum in the cinema. In it, Yevgeny Ivanovich played the episodic role of a sailor.

Two years later, directors Heinrich Gabay and Vsevolod Voronin invite Tashkov to the picture "Captain" of the Old Turtle "and claim him for the role of Repiov. In the sixties the actor appeared in such tapes as "Alien Name" (directed by I. Shulman, 1966), "I come from childhood" (directed by V. Turov, 1966). Career director

In 1957, a graduate of VGIK began his career as a director, working at the Odessa Film Studio. There he shoots together with Vladimir Kochetov a picture of "The Past", which reflects the underground life of the revolutionary workers of Odessa. Two years later Yevgeny Ivanovich filmed the film "Thirst", which demonstrates the hard life of the occupying Odessa.

But the real glory Tashkov brings the tape "Come Tomorrow" (1962). This story is about a simple girl from the hinterland, who dreams of becoming a singer. After the film was released, Evgeny Ivanovich became a recognizable figure.

The director's success was repeated in the late 60's. And although Tashkov Eugene Ivanovich, whose photo almost the whole country knew, by that time was already a well-known person, the pictures "Adjutant of His Excellency" (1969) and "Major Vikhr" (1967) only added to him popularity. They seemed to stand apart from other works of the maestro, because in them the images of the main characters were even more detailed and deeply written.

However, in the tape "Adjutant of His Excellency" there was no clear division into "his" and "others", which, naturally, did not please the censors, and they simply "rejected" it. And only Tashkov's personal intervention, which turned to the special services for help, returned everything to normal.

The screen version of literary works

In the 70's, Evgeny Ivanovich in the director's work increasingly turns to domestic literature. Analyzing the autobiographical play of S. Naydenov, narrating about the life and way of life of a merchant family, which adheres to the patriarchal foundations, Tashkov shoots the film "The Children of Vanyushin" (1973). Six years later, he screens the work of his friend Valentin Rasputin's "French Lessons." And in 1983, the series "Teenager", which Eugene Ivanovich filmed based on the novel of the same name by Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky, will be released. It was this writer that the maestro considered an expert on the Russian soul.

In 2011, Evgeny Ivanovich's final film "Three Women of Dostoevsky" was released. He not only directed it, but also wrote a script for it.

Secrets of success

Tashkov stressed that when he is working on a film, he makes every effort to get deeply into the character of the image, his cares, his deeds and his troubles.

And the audience, viewing the picture, should follow the lead of the director and empathize with the protagonist. Only in this way can a person become better and reflect on the state of their spiritual world.

A family

Tashkov Eugene Ivanovich, whose personal life was not devoid of tragedy, twice bound himself in marriage. With his first wife Catherine Savinova he met in the hostel, he was subdued by the girl's chest voice . They became friends, the maestro invited her to the picture "Come Tomorrow", and after a while offered her a hand and heart. The actress agreed. And, of course, Tashkov Evgeny Ivanovich wanted very much offspring. His children appeared. Son from the first marriage, Andrew chose an acting profession.

Unfortunately, in the Tashkov family there was a misfortune. Savinova fell ill with brucellosis, and the disease then splashed into schizophrenia. In 1970, after much suffering, she threw herself under the train. Evgeni Ivanovich was in a difficult grief.

The second director's choice was younger than him for 30 years. Actress Tatiana Alexandrovna Vasilyev initially discouraged from a marriage with Eugene Ivanovich, who suited her as a father. But they got married and were happy. In the marriage they had a son, Alex, who chose the profession of a psychologist.

Eugene Tashkov died February 15, 2012 from a stroke. The maestro was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery of the capital.
