Structure - what such a word can mean? Basic meaning and concept of structure

Everything is more or less complicated has its own structure. What is this in practice, and what it is? What features of the structure exist? How is it formed? Here is an incomplete list of issues that will be considered within the framework of the article.

Concept of organization

Before we find out what an organization is. This is the name of the spatio-temporal structure of certain factors that interact to get maximum qualitative and quantitative results in the shortest possible time and with minimal expenditure.

The organization unites processes that without it would interact inefficiently or even in general un-purposeful. In the presence of organization and structure, the action takes place within the framework of the previously planned order. Also, depending on certain external changes, operational measures can be taken to change the current process.

Organizational structure

What is the organizational structure in practice? It is necessary to ensure the performance of specific and / or common functions. At the same time, reasonable horizontal and vertical connections remain, that is, control elements are separated.

The first are oriented to support the ongoing processes, as well as to increase the effect of spatial production conditions.

Vertical links are necessary for determining the number of levels of management in order to be able to use subordinate and directive relations.

Thus, thanks to the organizational structure, it is possible to regulate the division of tasks and objectives into different divisions and departments, based on their competence in solving a certain range of problems, and overall interaction improves.

How structures are formed

Conditionally, this process can be divided into 3 stages:

  1. Formation of a common structure.
  2. Development of basic units (objects) and establishment of connections between them.
  3. Regulation of the result.

The process of formation of the structure of any object / subject is always of fundamental importance. The matter is that during it the basic set of characteristics and directions of activity is defined.

Of course, the most important aspects of the system are first determined. These include internal organization, information processing and staffing. Then, the goals to be met, and the tasks that need to be addressed, are set. Under this, the main units of the structure are developed, and a connection is established between them. And only at the end is considered the quantitative size of the characteristics.

When all aspects are processed, it means that there is already a ready structure. What does it give in practice? Different people with a different set of opportunities, talents and abilities unite to achieve a goal that no one individually could reach at a certain date. This is an indicator of the effectiveness of the structure. If the state of affairs is not this, then this indicates that the model was not successful.

Formation of the structure, of course, is covered now only in the most general terms. But in practice this process is much more complicated than the theory.

Social structure

The social structure refers to the forms of interrelations and relationships between various elements of society that have taken on the form of repetitive and sustained ones. Thanks to her, life is organized and stable. As an example, you can consider the university.

With the beginning of autumn, new students come to him. Some people graduate each year. Despite the fact that students are constantly changing, the university continues to exist. Similar examples can be formulated with respect to the family, the rock group, the commercial company, the religious community, the nation - these are all representatives of the social structure.

As you can see, there are constant and ordered relationships between different members of a certain group of people that belong to different associations. This is a general structure, but we will later deal with special cases.

Logical structure

A logical structure means the ordering of a certain data set, which is consistent with a set of previously formulated evaluation criteria. As a well-structured subject, mathematics can be cited.

It does not allow ambiguous interpretation of the data. But, depending on the goals and the point of consideration, the logical structure, and with it the final result, can change. For example, there are two people - one of them is clean, and the other is dirty. Who of them will go to wash? As two mutually exclusive logical options, the following can be cited:

  1. A dirty person will wash. The fact is, he needs to be cleansed.
  2. A clean person will wash. It is necessary to maintain the condition of the body.

As you can see, there is a certain logical conclusion, which depends on what our structure is built on. As a third option, we can suggest a situation where the two mentioned are united.

Management structure

There is also a management structure. It is designed to increase the effectiveness of all the individual components of a particular organization. Management structures are required to have access to full and truthful information in order to have a beneficial effect on what is subject to them.

In the human body, their role is played by the brain and the nervous system. At the enterprises - this is the board of directors and management management. The structure of the modern company is constantly being improved (this can be seen in the development of organizations over the past few decades). While changes in the qualitative plan in a person (his brain and nervous system) are less noticeable, from a physiological point of view.

Financial structure

The financial structure is necessary to provide accountability for the funds used. Thanks to it, it is possible to monitor abuses, as well as stable and confident work of various organizations.

A good structure of funds allows them to reach their recipient more quickly, and automatically leads to fewer different failures during transactions. And the better it functions, the more quantitative and qualitative characteristics you can get the result.

State structures

In contrast to the above, the state structure faces the task of ensuring the activities of the whole country and its population, as well as the regulation of internal and external relations. It is very long to take a closer look, so let's focus on the already mentioned example of the university, and in broad terms we learn what the structure of education is.

The main consumer of this type of service is a student. The sphere of education is created to train specialists who will be able to support the functioning of the state, that is, it forms a personnel reserve. To make this possible, the students are taught by the teachers. They are guided by the programs that are created by the Ministry of Education. But certain aspects may change in them, if universities have been delegated certain powers (at the level of the administration, the dean's office or the department).

Thanks to this flexibility, it is possible to find ways to improve the provision of education through the example of individual institutions, in order to improve the entire system in the future (not only universities, but also schools).

Commercial structures

Commercial structures should ensure the optimal flow of production processes necessary for the production of goods and the provision of services. In general, in today's world, the commercial structure is very important. What does it give the organization?

Thanks to it, you can set up an enterprise or company so that you get the most effect with the least waste. But this requires a thorough study of many issues. In addition, in this case, the qualitative aspect of human capital, which is used within a particular organization, is of great importance.

Non-profit structures

Nonprofit same structures have, as a rule, social goals that are displayed on their organization. A feature of them is flexibility, as well as voluntary participation.

Support the work of the organization can be carried out by means of the participants themselves (volunteers of this structure) or rich virtues. In the first case, one can observe the manifestation of a civic initiative that deals with solving a particular problem or achieves a definite goal (to teach children to appreciate the ecology, etc.). In the second variant, virtue can create a "proprietary" organization that will work in a specific way (helping the poor, having many children, etc.).

Software structure

Now about the structure of the software. It builds up to enable the software to perform its functions. Theoretically, it always has the possibility of improvement. The only question is how much is necessary and will pay off.

When creating programs, there is always a connection between variables and their belonging to something specific. Also, within the structure, it is necessary to specify the level of access to them. If the variable is used only in one function, it can be written with a local scope. If it is necessary for the work of several, maybe even classes, then it should be declared public. But this step potentially makes the program more vulnerable, so the program structure in this case should also have protective mechanisms that will not allow exploiting the gaps to attackers.
