Stalker: tips, interesting facts and other useful information

In 2007, the world saw one of the most famous games from the developers of the post-Soviet space. This, of course, is about the project of the Ukrainian company GSC GW - "STALKER: Shadows of Chernobyl." The game was met rather warmly by game critics, and domestic players were perceived as one of the best in the history of the gaming industry. By the current time, over 2 million copies of Stalker have been sold, of which about 1.2 million were for CIS countries.

History tells us about the stalker Mechenom, who miraculously was lucky to be rescued during the release in the Exclusion Zone. Waking up in a shack of a local merchant Sidorovich, our hero remembers nothing, he has amnesia. However, on his hand he sees a carved Stalker tattoo, and on the screen of the PDA a gloomy task is revealed - the murder of a certain person named Strelok. Passage of "Stalker" will immediately capture you with full force and dip into the adventures of an unusual world that did not appear earlier in any projects from Western igrostroev.

It is worth noting that the game belongs to the genre of FPS, however, the actions take place in an open to study world, divided into a variety of locations. If we briefly tell about the story, then the passage of "Stalker" we begin with the sole purpose - to find and kill the mysterious Arrow. In order to find it, we will have to carry out assignments from various people who can help us in the search: Sidorovich, Barman, Dr. Sakharov and others. The player will throw to all corners of the Zone, including, in the dungeons and secret laboratories. Over time, we learn that the stalker, nicknamed the Shooter, reached the very center of the Zone, passing through the Brainworm (a certain station that emits energy, which turns a person into a zombie).

After its disconnection, we still get to the heart of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and ... And here is the most interesting. In the game, we will be given 7 different endings: 5 false and 2 true. The first 5 can be obtained from the Wish Contractor. What a wish for a labeled label depends on what style your "Stalker" was. 2 true ones can be obtained in the laboratory of the mystical "O-Consciousness", where our hero is explained that he is the same shooter. Afterwards, they offer to join them and become one of the hosts of the Zone. Agree or not is your choice.

In general, the linear and direct passage of "Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl" will take you about 15-20 hours. However, if the gamer is interested in fully exploring the vast world of the Zone, stretching out over an area of about 36 square kilometers, plunging into the exciting atmosphere of the game and interacting with the maximum number of characters, the passage may take 70 or more hours. Everything depends on you!

The only thing worth knowing is that the plot is not the strongest side of this project. Dynamic in the game are only the last 1-2 hours, when tons of information collapses on us and answers to questions that accumulated for the entire passage time. The rest of the hour-long decade is accompanied by jaded cliches, the fulfillment of certain tasks and the like. But here the atmosphere of post-apocalypse of the Zone is gripping in earnest. The world is interesting and diverse, it wants to explore, which explains the popularity of the product among the gaming community, especially in the CIS countries.

In 2008, the developers released a prequel to the original - "STALKER: Clear Sky". In it, we will be given the opportunity to play for the hireling Shram, who will help us get answers to multiple questions of the original. The second part is noticeably shorter from its predecessor, the "Stalker: Clear Sky" passage will take 8-10 hours, and the study of the game world is not so exciting. First of all, due to the fact that this is a trivial self-copying of the last game. Also, the game is characterized by an increased focus on linearity, not giving the opportunity to explore many locations: Limansk, Red Forest, X16 and others. Significant innovations were added to the possibilities of upgrading weapons and suits, as well as several modified locations of the Dark Valley and the Agroprom.

Well, finally, the last thing I would like to remember is the add-ons. To "Stalker" was released their countless number, however, your attention deserves only a few. Among them you can highlight "The History of Surf", "Bloody Sunset" and two parts of the "Secret Trails". The second part of the last product is one of the most elaborate and interesting for acquaintance. In "Stalker: The Secret Paths-2" the passage again "sticks" into the skin of the Marked / Arrow, however, the story will come from a different angle, with its own storyline, new characters and weapons.
