The special economic zone "Togliatti" is the economic zone of the industrial-production format, which is located on the territory of the Stavropol region in the Samara region. The zone was formed under a special resolution of the Russian government from 2010. Its territory is located in the neighborhood of JSC AvtoVAZ, and the area is 660 hectares.

Provision and organization

The special economic zone "Togliatti" is the territory provided with engineering, transport and social infrastructures . The special economic zone of Togliatti is distinguished by the existence of special tax preferences for its residents. It is worth noting the following points:

• Exemption for up to 5 years from the payment of transport and land taxes.
• The property tax will not have to be paid for 10 years.
• The lowered rate on income taxes, starting from 2012 to 2018, is 0%. The final rate today is 2%, but by 2025 it is planned to raise it to 15.5%.
• A special program to attract investment in the Samara region.
