He managed to create the images of real men as naturally as possible: they bravely fought for their Motherland, discovered the unexplored expanses of the cosmos, they were equated with representatives of the strong half living in the Land of Soviets. Igor Ledogorov saw the secret of his success in his work in his ability to believe in his own strength and show willpower. As already emphasized, his first university is a polytechnic institute. But it was in Tashkent that the shooting of the famous film "Two Fighters" took place. The director of this picture, Lukov, and predetermined the future fate of Igor. The boys, including Ledogorov, hoisted Nazi uniforms, armed them with wooden automatic weapons and ordered them to break through the defenses. And the protagonist, played by Mark Bernes, opposed this army .

The actor becomes famous

The lyceum Igor Ledogorov became really popular after the release of the film "Nikolai Bauman", which was shot in 1968 by the director Semyon Tumanov.

The plot of the film is the last days of the life of a man who worked on the creation of the newspaper Iskra. Ledogorov Igor Vadimovich brilliantly coped with his task: he was able to create the most authentic image on the screen of a fighter for justice, ready to make any sacrifices for the sake of idealistic ideas. This role brought the actor a real glory. It became popular: in a year it was issued on two, and even on three pictures in which to it bright images were got. The filmography of Igor Ledogorov is very voluminous: gradually the actor becomes a real star of the Soviet screen.

Another work, which should be mentioned - is the role in the film "The Ballad of Bering and His Friends." The film was released in the early 70-ies of the last century. He got the role of Dmitry Ovtsyn, who is a member of the traveler's expedition. Ledogorov Igor Vadimovich managed to show his hero as a brave, extraordinary and bright person.

Edge of talent

Yes, and how differently, when he once, two, three reincarnated in real men, the heroes of the Soviet era: a polar explorer, a revolutionary, a general - all this was on the shoulder of the master.

He himself stated many times that the entourage for him is of the last importance. In the feelings of his characters, he primarily wants to show the viewer experience, inner struggle and unshakable will to win over injustice.

"Through hardship to the stars"

In 1980, the well-known actor Igor Ledogorov by that time was shot in yet another iconic film - "Through the thorns to the stars", after which he becomes a role model for all the boys. The story, written by the famous science fiction writer Bulychev, on blue screens was moved by director Viktorov who was the creator of such cult films as "The Children in the Universe" and "Moscow-Cassiopeia". Like other films of a fantastic genre, "Through the thorns to the stars" was the most realistic. Almost every episode of the picture was discussed in detail with the specialists of Star City. Even today some props of this film look modern.

It should be noted the brilliant work of Igor Ledogorova and in the film "People and Dolphins", with the filming of which he was able to quickly establish contact with these clever creatures.

In an interview, the actor admitted that he was pleasantly surprised when the dolphin was the first to seek friendship with him, communication with these animals gave him great pleasure. Noteworthy is the fact that in several films ("People and Dolphins", "Through the thorns to the stars", "Children in the Universe"), Igor Vadimovich divides the set with his son Vadim.

Work in the theater

Of course, the actor was busy not only in the cinema, but also in the theater, although his works in the Melpomene temple are not familiar to every spectator. Anyway, on the stage of the Lenin Komsomol Theater, where the maestro served between 1967 and 1969, Igor Ledogorov played many bright images. After some time he moved to the theater named after the Leningrad City Council, where he was involved in the productions "Forty-first", "Walking by the Flours", "Warsaw Melody".

In the early 1970s Igor Vadimovich again changed the stage, choosing the theater of the Soviet (Russian) Army, in which he served until 1997, after which he emigrated abroad.

Period of unclaimedness

In the 90's, Ledogorov, like many Soviet actors, became unclaimed.

In the churches of Melpomene there was a division of property, and art itself was given little time. Cinematography, too, was going through hard times: it took a lot of money to shoot a good film. The movie stars were forced to appear in advertising goods, second-rate serials, in order to somehow feed themselves and their families. Igor Ledogorov took very close to heart what was happening to his country, where money was in first place. And realizing that he could not change anything, the actor went to live in New Zealand.

Life Abroad

At first he was impressed by life abroad. However, for the actor as a man who lived for decades in the USSR, New Zealand turned out to be a stranger. Still, he lost that thread, which connected him with friends, relatives, colleagues. Of course, the wife of Igor Ledogorov, Stalin Alekseevna, who at one time directed the theatrical studio in Chernogolovka outside Moscow, strongly supported her beloved husband, not letting him fall in the spirit. However, it was difficult for him to acclimatise at first in this ecologically clean country. But time has made its own adjustments, and Ledogorov managed to overcome the barrier of alienation.

In one of his interviews with journalists he said: "I do not feel like an expatriate anymore - I have good impressions about this country, now I'm calm and can contact my people close to me."

Trip to Russia

Still, longing for the house did not give rest to Igor Vadimovich. At the first opportunity, he wanted to see his homeland. And this chance presented itself to him. In 2001, the actor, together with his son Vadim, went to the Russian capital. Ledogorov was invited to voice a new interpretation of the film "Through thorns to the stars." The idea to revive the picture, which was unfinished, belonged to the offspring of director Victorov - Nikolay. These fourteen days were unforgettable for the actor: meetings with colleagues, with the native theater, with the Russian audience left an indelible mark in the soul of Igor Ledogorov. The actor realized that in his homeland he was remembered and was waiting.

last years of life

The rest of his life, Igor Vadimovich lived in New Zealand. But even in a foreign land, he did not think of his being outside of art.

Son Vadim worked in the theater and often asked his father to teach him another lesson in acting. And the actor willingly shared his knowledge not only with him, but with his students. One day my son made a real gift to his father - he put Chekhov's "Cherry Orchard", where Igor Fyodor's role belonged to Igor Vadimovich.

Over time, the health of the actor began to seriously deteriorate. He had severe pain in the joints, and then the relatives had to resort to professional medical help. After the examination, the doctors predicted that Igor Ledogorov will live very little: the cause of the actor's death is cancer. His colleagues and friends tried in every possible way to encourage Igor Vadimovich. Prescribed drugs could extend his life for only a month. The actor died in the medical institution of Hamilton.
