Snowdrops from beads - a step-by-step master class

With the appearance of the first thawed patches, the first delicate florets appear. It is they, the harbingers of the coming spring, grow literally from under the snow. Therefore, they are called - snowdrops. Of the beads you can weave an almost exact copy. A bunch of these white flowers will decorate the house every day and remind you of the awakening of nature. It remains only to create them yourself.

Necessary materials

In order to make snowdrops from beads with your own hands, you will need:

- white translucent beads №11 15 gr;

- green beads № 11 5-10 gr;

- dark green beads № 11 10-15 gr;

- wire diameter 0.3 mm 2-3 meters long;

- thread for winding wire.

Also, you should immediately think over the stand for a bouquet of snowdrops. It can be a vase or a basket, or you can make a stand of alabaster. But more about this will be told a little later. As for any other work from beads, you will also need a clipper and a special organizer.

Petals for a flower

Weaving of snowdrops from beads begins with the smallest part of it - the petal. For each flower, they need at least 3 pieces, and it is desirable to make flowers in a bouquet at least five. Thus, all you need is 15 petals.

1. For one petal take a piece of wire 40 cm long and type on it one salad bead. And then in the technique of parallel weaving next series already 2 light green beads. In the third row, thread 1 white, 1 salad and 1 white bead.

2. All subsequent rows are woven from white beads in parallel weaving, but only the number of beads in them varies. 4 rows - 5 pieces, 5 rows - 6 pieces, 6 and 7 rows - 7 pieces, 8 row - 6 pieces, 9 row - 5 pieces, 10 row - 4 pieces, 11 row - 3 pieces.

3. Starting with the 12th row, the lace beads are again used. So, in this and the subsequent series there will be 3 beads, and in the last only one. The ends of the wire are not fixed yet, since they still have to be weaved together with other petals.

4. In exactly the same way, make 2 more petals for each flower, only you need to weave up to 13 rows. This is to ensure that they can be combined into one snowdrop from beads. The connection scheme is also performed by the parallel weaving technique.

Pair of petals in a shamrock

After all 3 petals are ready, it remains to weave them together. That petal, which consists of 14 rows, is considered the first, and 2 others - the second and third. So it will be easier to understand the sequence of how to make a snowdrop from the beads.

1. To connect 2 petals, you need to cut the wire of the second one between 12 and 13 by the first. Then on it to type 2 salad beads and to weave in a parallel weaving 13 a row for the second petal.

2. Then pass the wire between 13 and 14 near the first lobe. It remains only in the 14th row to dial one salad bead. 2 petals are connected.

3. Now it is necessary to add the third "incomplete" petal. Connect it to the second, skip one of the wire segments between 12 and 13 next. Then pass the free end of the wire from the third lobe between 12 and 13 near the first lobe.

4. To put on 2 salad beads on the remained free end. Then pass one end of the wire between 13 and 14 near the first, and the other between the same rows of the second lobe. Pull off the wire so that the ring turns out. It remains only to weave the 14th row of the third petal, consisting of one light green bead. On this the shamrock is ready.

The core of the flower

To snowdrops of beads were more like real, they still need to weave the middle. It will resemble a flower in its structure, but its technique is slightly different. In total, they will need 1 piece for each flower.

1. Take a piece of wire 30 cm long and dial 4 white, 1 light green and 5 white beads. Place them in the center. Then the end of the wire, where 4 beads are typed through the 5th bead on the other end. Tighten the loop.

2. For the second petal, dial 5 white, 1 green and 4 white beads on one end of the wire. Now you need to pass the end of the wire through the very first dialed bead. Make a noose.

3. Repeat all the same actions on the other side of the wire. The result is 3 small petals. Connect them so that they are in tight contact with each other. Now you need to pass this flower to the middle of the snowdrop. Twist all pieces of wires together.

The first flower for the bouquet is ready. Similarly, other snowdrops made of beads are made. The master class at this stage does not end, you still need to make the flowers of leaves and a stand.

Leaflets for flowers

For each flower you need to make no more than 1-2 sheets. Their production is, perhaps, the easiest part in the whole work. One sheet will take 70 cm of wire and a bit of green beads of a darker color than for sepals. To produce it, we use the familiar technique of parallel weaving. In the first row there will be 2 beads, in the second row - 3, from 3 to 32 - 4 pieces in each row, in the 33rd row - 3 beads, 34 - 2 pieces and in 35th - only One. Fasten the wire, and on this one leaf for the snowdrop is ready. On a bouquet of 5 snowdrops will need to make from 5 to 7 pieces.

Flower Assembling

Now, to make out the scattered elements snowdrops from beads, you need to collect everything in one bouquet. And they start with one flower. To do this, the wire remaining from the weaving of the flowers, wrapped in threads of green color for a length of 10 cm instead, you can use a floral tape of the same color. Sometimes still using alabaster, which is then covered with paint.

Then attach a leaf of beads and wrap the stem a few more centimeters. In the same way make the remaining flowers, and then put them together in a common bouquet. You can leave it like that, but you can put it in a vase or a basket of the right size. And, of course, you can make a stand for a bunch of flowers with your own hands.

Stand for snowdrops

To make such a stand of alabaster with your own hands, you will need the following materials and tools:

- alabaster;

- PVA glue;

- some water;

- 2 small cans (one for mixing the mass, the other for the mold);

- plastic bag;

- Brush;

- paints.

1. In a jar mix in equal proportions alabaster, PVA glue and water. The mass should be obtained by consistency as a thick sour cream.

2. A jar, which serves as a form, to lather with polyethylene. This is necessary for the ready-made stand to be easily removed. Fill the container with alabaster paste until it has hardened.

3. Place approximately a bouquet of snowdrops in the middle and hands to give the desired shape to the mass. You can make small tubercles to look like thawed patches. Leave for a day until completely dry.

4. It remains only to paint the stand. You can use light blue and green hues to make it look like a spring clearing. Around the bouquet make a dark patch of land appearing. Do not forget to remove the stand from the jar.

After the work has completely dried, it remains only to varnish the stand. Thus, snowdrops were produced from beads, photos of which were at the very beginning of this master class.
