Skating rink on Red Square - convenient and useful

The skating rink on the Red Square enjoys a special demand closer to the New Year. But you can skate on it from the beginning of December. And this winter pleasure continues until the spring. Even on the world women's day on March 8, this entertainment is still available. The skating rink practically does not depend on external weather factors: ice here is artificial, and the special equipment located in its base, provides a working surface even in a thaw. Of course, this requires certain energy costs for the ice rink. Red Square and the central department store (TSUM), located nearby, were forced to make certain savings. However, the area itself is not affected, its energy consumption does not change. But TsUM for the duration of the operation of the rink refuses to operate air conditioners. However, the famous illumination of the pathos place of shopping is still preserved.

It is because of the illumination that it is most interesting to come to the skating rink in the evening and, in addition to skating, to organize a photo session. Moreover, a high festive spruce is being established in the neighborhood, which is also an excellent background for pictures. Therefore, you can spend some time on making photos for memory. Each skating session lasts an hour or twenty minutes, and another 40 minutes is spent by the administration to clean and restore ice. Therefore, you can get to the skating rink on Red Square every two hours, starting from 10 am and ending at 10 o'clock in the evening.

An important point for those wishing to come to the skating rink on the Red Square is the cost of services. It depends on the time of day and on whether this day is a holiday or a day off. The minimum ticket price for children and adults is in December, on weekdays before lunch. Apparently, in the first winter month, most fans of skating are not yet "swinging" and rarely take advantage of this opportunity. But on the New Year, and in the remaining winter time, the skating rink on the Red Square is very popular. There is not enough to get through. Accordingly, the prices are also growing (season 2012/2013, given for the landmark): adults have to pay for entrance from 250 rubles (weekdays morning) to 500 rubles (weekend). The younger generation can be accustomed to a healthy lifestyle for 50-100 rubles. Preschool children do get to the ice for free.

Those who do not have their own skates are forced to hire them. For children and pensioners, who can show an appropriate certificate, it costs 100 rubles. Adult skates cost 250 rubles. Plus, you need to leave a pledge document or 2000 rubles. People who visited the skating rink on Red Square, whose reviews can be found on the Internet, say that skates are often stupid, so you have to pay more for their sharpening. In addition, you can use the services of your own coach, of course, also paid. And you can arrange a group training, and then each will have to 500-700 rubles, depending on the size of the group (3-5 people). The reviews indicate a good quality of ice, a pleasant atmosphere, but warn that all valuable things, including money, should be taken with them.
