Simeiz. Water Park "Blue Bay"

History of the village

On the slopes of Mount Cat, archaeologists have found artifacts, indicating that the land on which the settlement currently settled was inhabited many millennia ago. But for unknown reasons, by the 18th century there was no trace of the settlement.

The construction of Simeiz began in 1873, when the tsarist minister of war acquired in these parts an oak grove and an abandoned vineyard. The construction of the estate was completed in record time, but at the beginning of the 20th century it was sold to the ministers of Minister Maltsev.
