History

In 1797, Sibenik moved to Austria, the reason for this was the fall of the Venetian Republic. A short time the city was under the rule of France, but in 1813 again became Austrian.

During the First World War, Italy captured Italy, but after the end of the armed struggle it became part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. In 1991, after Croatia's independence was proclaimed, Sibenik became a part of it.
