"Seven" - a car of the domestic auto industry (VAZ-2107)

"Seven" - the car of the domestic manufacturer. It became a kind of classic. VAZ-2107 (working name of the model) is a small class III car. It was created from 1982 to 2012 at the Volga Automobile Plant. The model was sold in Europe under the brands "Lada-1500", "Lada Riva" and "Lada Nova". Noteworthy is the fact that in Egypt the assembly line at the Lada-Egypt plant has been in operation until 2014. The European classification of the car is class B.

A bit of history

In 2001, AvtoVAZ modified the model, which later would be called the Seven. Machine "Zhiguli-2107" from the assembly line of the plant came in two new versions with different equipment. This VAZ-21070 and VAZ-21074. Until 2012, the car succumbed to restyling several more times. "Seven" is widely known in Hungary. There, this car is practically cult, thanks to its participation in the rally. Its assembly was carried out not only at Russian plants, but also in Ukraine and on the territory of the Chechen Republic.

VAZ-2107 was discontinued in 2012 due to low demand. It was also at this time that the manufacturer promptly tackled a new development called "Lada Granta", which was to completely replace the outdated model.

What is the "seven"?

The VAZ-2107 is a five-seated sedan that has a four-cylinder gasoline engine and a five-speed manual transmission. The body of the model Lada 2107 is a bearing, all-metal, with four doors. The oil used in the VAZ-2107 is semi-synthetic 10W40. It is suitable for any temperature range. Oil changes once for 10 000 km.

However, there are no complaints about high-speed regimes - on the road the car goes easily at a speed of 140-145 km.
