The drug "Sepptelet Neo" is available in the form of lozenges for resorption. It has antiseptic and slightly anesthetic effect. Medication is able to directly affect pathogens (pathogens), prevent the spread of infection, eliminate symptoms of oral and pharyngeal inflammatory and infectious diseases.

The drug is prescribed for influenza, infectious and inflammatory processes in the pharynx and oral cavity in a mild form, with colds, stomatitis, gingivitis, bad breath from the oral cavity, shortness of breath, hoarseness of the voice.

Patients over the age of twelve are recommended to have eight lozenges a day. It is necessary to dissolve the lozenge every two or three hours.

The daily dosage for patients from four to ten years - four lozenges, from ten to twelve - up to six pastilles, one every three or four hours.

The instruction does not recommend the use of the "Septolete" immediately before or during meals. Do not also use milk together with the medicine, because this product is able to lower the antimicrobial properties of the active ingredient (benzalkonium chloride). The duration of use of the drug, as a rule, is from three to seven days (in accordance with the course of the pathology).

The drug is contraindicated for children under four years old, as well as hypersensitivity to the ingredients.

Side effects are manifested in the form of nausea, diarrhea, vomiting. There may be a toothache (if the recommended dosage is exceeded). When applying the septot, the instruction indicates the appearance of itching, rashes on the skin, angioedema, hives in rare cases.

If any undesirable consequences are identified, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor.

Do not use the drug in elevated (more than recommended) dosages. In the presence of infections accompanied by fever, vomiting, headache, you need to see a doctor (especially if the condition persists for three days). The ballroom with a chronic cough should consult a specialist before using a septotlet.

With care, a medication is prescribed for diabetes mellitus.

The drug is not recommended for patients with rare hereditary disorders: a deficiency in sugar isomaltase, lactase deficiency of Lappe, malabsorption syndrome (glucose-galactose), intolerance to fructose or galactose.

In medical practice, there is insufficient information on the safety of the use of the septot during pregnancy and lactation. The expediency of prescribing the drug is decided by the doctor. As a rule, the drug is not recommended for use in the periods indicated.

Taking medication does not affect the speed of reactions when working with mechanisms and transport management.

The interaction of the drug with other drugs is not established.

In clinical practice cases of overdose are not described. Due to the low concentrations of the active ingredients in the Septollet pastilles, the likelihood of overdose is minimal. However, increased doses of medication can cause disorders in the digestive tract (diarrhea, vomiting, nausea). Diarrhea (diarrhea) sometimes occurs in children under the influence of large doses of polyols. If these reactions are identified, discontinue the use of the drug, carry out symptomatic therapy.

It is recommended to store the "Septotelet" lozenges in a dark and dry place at a temperature of less than twenty-five degrees.
