Scenic speech

There are many people who are dissatisfied with their voice. One does not like the fact that he disappears at the most inopportune moment, others do not like his timbre, intonation and so on. But what is a voice? Do you really think that its qualities are exclusively natural? A voice is something that can be developed, trained, changed.

Have you ever been to the theater? If so, then surely pay attention to how the actors speak. Scenic speech is something delicious. To master it, people have to perform the same exercises for years. The result - a clear diction, excellent sound, a loud and convincing voice.

Acting is something that consists of many elements. The actor will be able to enter the image only by using his whole body. Scenic speech involves the use of the entire voice apparatus. You need to be able not only to correctly manage the vocal cords, but also to breathe, to maintain posture and so on. Please note that for ordinary conversations, you can limit yourself only to shallow breathing. Will surface breathing work for long monologues or the utterance of important convincing phrases? No. Here you need to use diaphragmatic breathing. With its help you can speak in a louder, stronger and more intense voice. The diaphragm is important, since it helps to push the air.

Scenic speech implies complete control of breathing. It is important to learn not only to take it, but also to support it. I'll have to learn how to speak for a long time in one breath and gain air imperceptibly. As an exercise, you can advise reading a poem called "The House That Jack Built." How will it help you? Many of them. Pay attention to its design. Each part of it is slightly larger than the previous one. Each of them needs to learn how to pronounce in one breath. At first everything will be simple, but here with the last stanzas there can be problems. This exercise will help you learn how to control your breathing.

Are you interested in scenic speech? Then think about your posture. It's really nice to talk only when the back is absolutely straight. How to straighten it? Pull your right arm up so that the whole body tenses. Then do the same with your left hand. Then raise both hands upwards, stretch your whole body and slowly lower them, winding behind your back and straightening your shoulders. Remember this position. At the moment you have exactly the same posture as it should be.

Exercises for stage speech are different. Of course, most of them are aimed at the utterance of sounds. How to improve your diction? Begin to learn tongue twisters, tongue twisters, complex poems. Remember that classes should be systematic. What tongue twisters and tongs use? In principle, any. The main thing is that they are not too simple. Periodically, they should be changed, go to something more complex, serious. What poems can be used to train diction? It is best to use those that are hard to read. The creations of Mayakovsky, Khlebnikov, Bryusov and other futurist poets are great. You can also use, for example, excerpts from the Iliad. There are many options. Scenic speech develops well and when reading lighter poems. Read them expressively, with feeling, processing each word.

Diction can be corrected by reading and non-narrative texts. Read it before you go to bed aloud, and in the morning your speech will be much better - it's a fact. And anyway, try to talk as much as possible.

Staging a voice is a rather complicated process. The result can be very good. Of course, you should not spare efforts to improve speech. All will pay off.
