How to draw a Pokémon? Master-class: five simple steps

Does your child just love Pokemon? And you want to please him and learn how to draw these miracle animals?

This master class will help!

You will learn how to draw a Pokémon, or rather, the most famous of them - Pikachu. This funny yellow creature world learned in 1996, when the company Game Freak released in Japan a computer game called Pokemon. Already then, Pikachu became the hero of the cartoon anime, winning the love of millions of children around the world. This yellow cute creature is the most recognizable Pokémon. In 2000, almost every child was shouting with joy and joy, imitating his favorite character, a piercing: "Pikachuuuuuu!"

Time magazine in 1999 awarded Pikachu second place, calling him the most favorite character in the anime after Hello Kitty. Forbes magazine in 2003 awarded this cute creature the eighth place in the list of the most profitable animated characters. Only in 2003, the creators of the Pokemon received 825 million dollars! That's what he is - Pikachu!

But enough history. Let's find out how to draw a pokemon step by step in pencil.

First step. Drawing eyes and a muzzle

Draw two small ovals that are symmetrical to each other, a short distance away. These are the future pupils of the Pokémon.

Around the pupils draw circles. These are the future eyes of Pikachu. Draw circles so that the pupils are in the upper left part of them. Paint your eyes with a pencil.

Draw a small dash between the eyes, indicating the spout. Below, observing the symmetry, from one eye to the other, draw a slightly curved line. Add a U-shaped broad smile to the bottom line of the mouth.

Just below the eyes, on the sides of the mouth, put two ovals, somewhat larger than Pikachu's eyes. It's a cheek.

Second phase. Let's outline the face

How to draw a Pokemon muzzle? It's quite simple.

Circle the previously drawn details of the face, making the head of the creature a little square, and the right cheek - plump. The figure below shows how to do this.

Well, you see from the sheet of paper mischievous eyes of this lovely animal! Agree, there is nothing complicated yet? True? By small simple steps we will create a wonderful masterpiece that will delight any child!

The third stage. Draw hands and torso

Let's first depict the body of the creature. For this, after stepping slightly from the head, from below, in proportion to the width of the top of the Pikachu, draw a square without its upper line. Then, from the right and left sides, draw the lines of the Pokémon's arms as shown below. They are very similar to kitchen potholders or mittens. Their length is approximately half the length of the trunk.

The fourth stage. Drawing ears and feet

With each step of our master class you will learn more about how to draw a Pokémon. At this stage we will depict the ears and paws of the yellow miraculous Pikachu.

At the bottom of the square torso, draw two ticks in the form of the letter V, connecting them with the body. This will be the pokemon's paws.

The ears of the mysterious animal are long and narrow, the same V-shaped and approximately equal in size to the diameter of the head. The right ear sticks out slightly more than the left. At this step, we need an eraser. With its help, erase the line at the junction of the head and the right ear.

The fifth stage. Draw the tail

How to draw a Pokémon Pikachu? Yes, you have already almost done it! But it's too early to congratulate - the last stage of our master class is left, in which it is necessary to depict the tail of this mysterious creature!

He is not simple and does not resemble anyone else. The tail of Pikachu is lightning! So, let's get started!

To begin with, on the left, at the junction of the arm with the trunk, draw the volumetric letter L. This will be the lower part of the tail, the one that connects to the body.

Then, just to the left at an angle (as shown in the picture), draw a square, slightly tapering down, behind the hand and Pikachu's head. This is the top part of the tail.

That's it! Pikachu is ready! Now you can proudly draw this wonderful little beast to your child. Surely this picture was spent no more than ten minutes! And now you are convinced on your own experience: the question of how to draw Pokemon in stages is not as complicated as it might seem at first glance, and its solution is available to absolutely every parent!
