Dmitry Abakumov is a Russian footballer who plays for Orenburg. He plays the position of the goalkeeper. He is only 27 years old, which is not enough by goalkeeper standards, so Dmitriy Abakumov can still achieve a lot in his career.

Carier start

Abakumov Dmitry was born on July 8, 1989 in Russia, in the city of Voronezh, where he began to play football at the academy at the local club "Torch". In 2007, when he was 17 years old, he went through a viewing in Moscow's "CSKA" and joined one of the strongest clubs in the country, signing a professional contract with him. However, he was not able to play a single match. Abakumov Dmitry spoke only for a double until the winter of 2009, when he was given up as unnecessary in KAMAZ.

Transition to KAMAZ

In a new place the goalkeeper did not play at once - for a long time he was sitting on the bench. The athlete entered the field only in case of emergency. But after a while he had a chance, and he took advantage of it. The goalkeeper defended 35 matches in KAMAZ, conceding 37 goals, after which he was acquired by the Saransk "Mordovia".

However, here the full-fledged game practice was not received by Dmitry Abakumov - the statistics of the goalkeeper in "Mordovia" was not the most impressive. For the entire season he went on the field only 14 times, conceding 24 goals. As a result, the club broke up with the player, giving it to "Orenburg", for which he acts to this day.

Success in Orenburg

After long and unsuccessful wanderings through various clubs, Abakumov finally found his home, where he was happy. Orenburg immediately trusted the 25-year-old goalkeeper, putting him in the starting lineup. As a result, the rate was justified, and Dmitry reserved a place in the basis. Since then, he spent 75 matches for the club, conceding only fifty goals.

But in the current season he became less and less in the starting lineup, as Orenburg reached a new level, which required more high-profile players. The club was visited by Belarusian goalkeeper Alexander Gutor, who spoke before for the Minsk "Dynamo". He also ousted Abakumov from the starting lineup. As a result, Dmitry has played only five games to date, but he played them just superb. He missed only one goal in four of them, and in the fifth, unfortunately, missed three at once, because of what again he returned to the bench.

National team appearances

In his youth, Dmitriy Abakumov was summoned to the Russian youth team, and not once. For example, for the national team under 16 he spent as many as 14 matches. However, in the adult team it has not been called yet. Now he is listed in the second team, but even for it has not yet debuted.
