Rest on the lakes of Russia: Blue Lake Samara Region and Blue Lake Perm Region

The blue lake of Samara, or Semise-kule, is a national property of the Samarans. This reservoir is created by nature, it is a unique phenomenon. Its average temperature is 7-8 degrees. The peculiarity of the lake lies in the fact that it does not freeze even in winter.

The Blue Lake (Samara region) is located 25 km from the regional center of Sergievsk. Near the coast is the village of Old Yakushkino.

How to get to the lake?

To get to this natural reserve, it is necessary to overcome more than 100 km from Samara to the settlement of Sergievsk. From it you need to turn either to Samsonovka, or to the Old Yakushkino, from which another 1.5 or 3 km respectively go blossoming steppes along the channel of the Shungut River to the destination. For those who travel to the Blue Lake (Samara region), an abandoned farm and yellow construction car, forgotten once on a hill just opposite the pond, will serve as a good guide. The travelers coming to these places are immediately struck by the unique color of the water. It is crystal blue and incredibly transparent, which adds some mystery to the pond. For the excursion it is better to choose dry weather, because on the dirt road in the off-season, not every SUV will pass.

A bit of history

For the first time the Blue Lake (Samara region), whose reviews are only positive in our time, is mentioned in the 18th century by the Russian natural scientist, as a powerful sulfur source, unsuitable for drinking neither for people nor for cattle. Even then it had the shape of a karst funnel, and in 2013 there was a failure of the bottom, which increased the depth of the lake by another 10 meters. As a result of the failure, a deep tunnel was discovered, which is the conductor of hydrogen sulfide sources. While it is not thoroughly studied by divers and scientists, it therefore raises many questions and assumptions.

Features

Its lyrical name is the Blue Lake (Samara) due to the tremendous crystal of the emerald waters, filling to the brim a bowl measuring 1086 square meters. M. On sunny days, the water transparency exceeds 18 meters in depth, which attracts tourists and divers from all over the country. The phenomenon of the lake is that it is a kind of source of groundwater that feeds the Shungut River. In addition, due to the presence in an extremely active karst region, the outlines of its bottom are constantly changing. The elucidation of the reasons for these unusual geological movements is now faced by hydrogeological scientists. Now the Blue Lake (Samara Region) is a monument of regional importance.

In the sixties, the power of the underground source was used for the needs of the oil and gas production department of Sergievsk-Neft, which rocked the water during extraction into oil reservoirs. Although the supply system has now been destroyed, the pipes and supports are dismantled for scrap, and nothing reminds of human intervention, Shungut feeds a rather meager stream, which indicates a change in lake hydrology.

Water vegetation

Crystal transparency of water is achieved by almost complete absence in the lake of any living organisms, hence the nickname "Dead Lake". The main inhabitants are the algae. These are very peculiar and very large plants. Relate to the lowest level, but, at the same time, represent a symbiosis of higher plants and multicellular algae. They grow very extensively, forming whole forests and meadows on the bottom and slopes of the lake funnel. Due to the fact that the Blue Lake (Samara region) is transparent, the thickets of algae can be seen from the shore. The name "harovye" has the ancient Greek root "hara" - beauty, joy. Rushing in the transparent, precious waters, they really add to the lake a magnificent, magical beauty.

In less quantity, a tail was seen, outwardly resembling a mini-pine and usually growing in a marshy area. And the natural mineralization of its stems makes them a scattering of gems at the bottom of a beautiful casket.

Animal world of the Blue Lake

The lake fauna includes ringed worms, a pair of species of mollusks and arthropods.
Another "highlight" of the Blue Pond is his brother Black Lake, separated by a narrow strip of land at 15 meters. This conditional border opens a completely different world: a warm, fresh lake, a standard color, shallow, but with excellent fishing for crucian carp. According to local beliefs, 2 brothers are perceived as vessels with living and dead water, alternately swim in which, you can get rid of all the ailments.

Tourism

Excursion groups from Samara to the Blue Lake, but most often come here individually, impressed by the stories, rumors and legends surrounding the landmark.

Organized tourism to the Blue Lake can be called a diving club "Sea Cat", which offers customers such an attraction: dropping to the bottom, you need to roll over on your back and, while the instructor supports, examine the floating clouds, people walking along the shore and the caps of algae. Impressions unforgettable, judging by the reviews of enthusiastic customers.

Members of the club took over their wealth of the present patronage, installing bridges to enter the water, following the coastal cleanliness, and also once a year, conducting a day cleaning the lake itself.

Blue Lake (Perm Region)

Talking about the Samara reservoir, I want to mention the sights of the Perm region. In this area is also located the same name lake. In contrast to the above, this reservoir is of artificial origin. Previously, limestone was mined in these places, so there were quarries. After they filled with water, the reservoirs called the landmark of a city like Aleksandrovsk.

The blue lake is surrounded by dense forests. The coastline is steep, so there are very few convenient approaches to water. However, the picturesque landscapes and amazing color of the pond attracts many tourists.
